There are a couple of cons for this clock but it's still the best I've ever had. It's simple and sensible functionally, looks nice and the batteries last a very long time (Over a year I think) even with the backlight on. The cons are that the backlight is not quite bright enough for me to read the clock easily at night and if I push the top button to really light it up it's too bright and hurts the eyes at night. The words on the back for the settings are hard to read in any light. I could probably fix that myself somehow.

This has been super durable. I’ve had it for about a year and it’s regularly played with by my kids 😅 but it has never stopped working. I wish there was a way to turn the alarm off other than flipping it all the way off on the back because you the have to turn it back on every night. It looks good. It works well. I’ve never had to change the batteries. Highly recommend for a simple clock.

We like it but the phosphorescent effect could be brighter. Keeps great time. Good looking.

I needed a clock in my therapy office that was easy to see from across the room, could sit on my desk, and was nice enough looking to add to my decor. I love the two tone wood of this little clock and the buttons are brown to blend in. It looks really beautiful. The un-lit display screen can adjust to the lighting in the room so that the contrast increases and makes it more readable. The temperature and date are nice features and the light up feature is bright. The only thing that might be an issue for people is that the light only comes on when you push the snooze button and turns off after a few seconds. Overall I'm super satisfied with this purchase!

Very disappointed with this clock. Some of the buttons do not work no matter what I try. The minute/date button will not change nor will the snooze/ light button work. Also the Fahrenheit/Celsius feature won’t change. Only good for the trash.

Everything is great! The layout has all you need. Great if you don’t want to always wake up to your phone first thing in the morning. It’s simple. The backlight you can have on or off which is nice. I like mine off because I don’t like a lot of light at night. It’s for batteries only, no chords yay! Would be cool if they have like a solar recharge, or a plug in to charge like a phone. The alarm is your basic alarm clock sound. Would be cool to have some volume settings or alarm choices. The snooze button is a great size for both snooze and light. And the wood is a really nice addition for some warm tones to the room. Have had it for a couple months and it works great!

I wanted a new digital clock for my office and I like bold displays. When I saw the pictures of this display with the backlight on it looked like it woukd be great, nice and bright. I knew that it would only stay on for 5 seconds at full brightness. But the light sensor thing made it sound like the light would illuminate it well in any lighting. Wrong. In a fully lit room it is just like a normal LCD black and white display, and more on the dim side. Not very clear to see. It suffers from limited angles of viewing as well, for best results you need to be looking from a downward angle towards it. When the light is on it is really hard to read from any angle except straight on. The backlight sensor creates an extremely dim light, and there is NO setting to change this. In a dark room it is a somewhat pleasantly dimly lit, visible, but soft. If you wanted this as a night stand clock nearby it would be alright, if you had it placed evenly or lower than your bed. It's not very clear from across the room. I'll include a photo of it compared to another clock(photo is actually more clear than how the clock looks). I have no used the alarm feature. Set up was pretty easy. I just got it so I can't speak to any longevity. It is slightly annoying the the light button on top seems to be capatitative-touch activated and will activate simply by any touch on the button or even the top of the clock. It's quite bright when it lights up, so if you touch it in a dark room you may get slightly blinded, lol. I really like the look of this clock, I want to like it, but not being able to turn up the backlight brightness for regular use, the dim screen, and poor viewing angles means this is likely going to be returned.

Clock has a nice look, and although another post said it was plastic, I believe the front bezel and sides are wood. Back is plastic. I wanted this for use in a rustic bathroom and it fits in great. I made a small shelf so that it sits at eye level and is very clear and readable. One thing to keep in mind, as you move the clock above or below eye level, the display washes out fairly quickly, especially when viewed from a close distance. The further you move away from it, the wider the usable field of view becomes. That could be an issue if it were placed on a tall dresser close to your bed. Contrary to a few other posts, I found setting time, date and temp functions straight forward - I never looked at the instructions until afterwards, and that may be the source of confusion for some that found function setting confusing. They appear to have been written in that wonky English translation dialect. The buttons on the back pretty much indicate what does what. Didn't bother to set alarm or test that feature as it is a bathroom clock. The light sensor works as it should - display in the dark is not overly bright but does act as a nightlight. Pressing the snooze button does increase display brightness significantly but the normal backlighting seems adequate, and can be disabled if desired. Like it, and hope it last a long time

Works well, been using it for a month with no issues. It has a sensor button on the back that will automatically light up a backlit screen for when it gets too dark. The backlit screen is a bluish gray tint, not enough to wake you up when you're sleeping, but just enough to see it. I attached the photograph of a blue tint, from the other model I had purchased so that you can see the brightness and what it looks like in darkness. I can definitely recommend it. Just be reminded that as I said in a previous review, yes I've bought two of these models because the first one, a black one worked well, remember that even though the packaging says you need three AA batteries, you actually need three AAA batteries. Just something to be aware of. I can definitely recommend this product as I've bought two within the past two months. If you're looking for something that is battery powered, portable, easy to read, go for this.
