Please note that Cetraben Ointment is an emollient used to moisturize and soften dry skin in eczema, dry cases of psoriasis and other dry skin conditions. It can also be used as a skin cleanser or bath additive. It can be used on the face, but please note that contact with the eyes should be avoided. We hope the information provided was of help. Q: How do you open the jar? Didn't think it would be this hard haha

With great difficulty and tools! Feel/look around the bottom of the lid/neck of container and find the tab with the arrow on it. This little tab is on the end of a sealing strip that has to be removed. Pull this tab as far as you can in the direction of the arrow. I use the handle of a teaspoon to prise the end of the sealing strip as far as it will go. Then grab the sealing strip end with a pair of pliers and pull it away - then unscrew the lid. I struggle - even though I am an avid crafter with strong and agile hands. I cannot wait for the day this wonderful ointment is sold in a glass jar with a metal screw-on lid. Good luck.
