Nice mold.

I made the first full set with Mica burnished in, using Epoxy Resin. There were tiny bubbles that I didn't catch, need to be very careful and look at it from all angles to get them out. So, had an idea, use low viscosity UV resin for the first layer, cure it then fill the rest with Epoxy. Don't do that, the UV didn't cure properly through the Mica and ruined the mold. My mistake, but the rest of them that I didn't use UV on and worked out all the bubbles came out Excellent. Nicely detailed. Ordered a replacement for the damaged mold. Tried to get a good picture but too much reflection.

I'm having lots of fun with thrse molds. The raised design makes it easy to paint once the resin has cured. My only complaint is that the numbers (on the one with a dice) come out backwards. I'm thinking about trying to smooth that out so there are no numbers at all. Or maybe just not using that one.

Pros: It creates a beautiful resulting candle. The flower decorations are as good as they look in the product photos. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it already! Cons: 1) As others have said, the mold is VERY flexible. It was not in any kind of fancy packaging and so it arrived with the opening mouth a permanently squished into an irregular "circle-like" shape. I tried different things like clamping it (for a few hours) to bring it back to a circle, but it never really took. You've got to get creative in your set up to get in into a nicer top-circle form for your pours, and even then it probably isn't going to be perfect. 2) There were super, super small bubbles that formed across the entire surface of the entire candle wherever it touched the mold. This didn't happen with any other molds we used on this wax pour. There was also some kind of oily residue on part of the inside and outside of the mold when we received it (which I didn't fully realize until after our first candle came out with that residue on it). Am hoping with a really thorough wash and dry, neither of those things will be a persistent issue though.

Never even used once since leaked after I put in the wick. Wish I knew before wax went everywhere that these were not able to close up the from the hole used for wick!
