Our mini schnauzer absolutely loves this cooling mat. She jumped on it as soon as I removed it from the package (how did she know?), and stays on it continuously. Great product and value!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It is cloth not gel with plastic cover which I couldn't find. I like the other kind.

We have three different pet cooling mats—all purchased from Amazon this year. Our first two cooling mats were a smaller size, just to see if they worked. The fabric is some kind of synthetic blend that actually does feel cooler to the touch. We ordered this product in a larger size to fit our 60 pound Retriever better, but she doesn't care for it. Of the three, this one is the least cool to the touch. Our first cooling mat has a sea world type blue pattern, which is weird, but the mat includes back grippers to hold it in place. The next cooling mat we purchased was a tan-gray variety with a tighter pattern. This one is our favorite, as the tighter pattern seems to be the coolest of the three. This larger dark brown one is not as cool to touch, and the backing is flimsy—plus, our dog doesn't really care for it. Although I'm sure there are other dogs who would appreciate it.

This item is being falsely advertised as a "cooling pad". It is NOT. It is a piece of cheap, satiny fabric with a bit of padding, sewn to a piece of mesh. It's easy to clean, sure. And that might matter a LOT more if it were actually a cooling pad, which it is not, which is false advertising, which is criminal.

Purchased this cooling bed for a very picky indoor/outdoor cat that loves to hangout in the garage (which can become very warm in the summer months). I put the mat in the cats favorite basket in the garage and the picky little guy loved it! Made us feel better knowing he was resting well on a cool surface.......pretty sure this mat is magic!!

This item is loved by my cats. Definitely worth it and its machine washable. Choose a size that fits your pets needs.

Doesn't get cool at all. I expected this to have some sort of gel in it but it's just crummy fabric that doesn't even get cool. It feels cheap
