Alpenmilch Chocolate Bar, 3.5 Ounce (Pack of 24)

I grew up with this chocolate bar as my mom and Dad immigrated from Germany to USA in 1951. My relatives would send packages and these chocolate bars would always be included. They are a great chocolate I whenever I saw these ( rarely see them though) I would buy them. these are the best and the Cadbury is a close 2nd. I decided to finally look on Amazon and of course Amazon has them and at a much lower price than what I paid in the store when I saw them. The milk chocolate is awsome but the Hazelnut bars are to die for. Amazon did not list the Hazelnut but at least i have the regular milk chocolate. Now that the USA is on the bandwagon of eating healthier these are a bonus as Europe tends to have less chemicals in their food than the USA, so this is the first choice which may not be a healthy product but it's CHOCOLATE!! Whenever our grandchildren come our this is the first item they look for. Passing on the heritage. love it.

I’ve been lucky to have traveled as much as I have. This is my absolute favorite milk chocolate candy bar I’ve personally ever tasted. The product lasts and tastes better than any other milk chocolate candy bars I’ve tried. Even if it melts a little in shipping it doesn’t get a white coat that I believe is cocoa butter that comes to the surface like many other chocolate candy bars do. When I’m out in public like a motel or a similar setting, when I see kids and their parents I often bring a couple candy bars to share with other people. Most people never tell me what they thought not occasionally I get great feedback from this. I like to share the good stuff in life. The quality is unsurpassed in my opinion. I trust European food products more than American for food safety reasons. I’ve never tasted better and the price is a bit higher these bars offer more in ounces for approximately others. I found this chocolate bar in the 1980’s in Germany while I was in the Army and for decades I couldn’t find it anywhere. Until I found it on Amazon. It hasn’t changed at all in taste the whole time. And there are many other types of “Milka” chocolates. The White Chocolate is also very good. I want next time to try out the one with caramel. I do hope people try it. By the way “Milka” doesn’t know I promote and share this product. It’s just me saying this.

BEST Chocolate ever! Packaged very well to keep it cold. Would suggest you are home when package is expected to insure no melting. Absolutely delicious!

We love these chocolates and only World Market carries them nearby. Expensive but best chocolate ever.

Very smooth, creamy milk chocolate. The best there is; on a par with Wilbur's chocolate in Lititz, PA.

These arrived broken and misshapen as if they had partially melted and with a sticker over the "use by" date. I can't possibly put those in someone's Christmas stocking.

Este chocolate es de los más ricos que he probado, no se consigue en cualquier tienda, por eso en cuanto lo ví no dudé en comprarlo. Llegó un poco derretido por el calor que está haciendo pero lo congelé y sin problema. Súper recomendable.

You think, yes it's expensive for a chocolate bar. But you can't buy these in grocery stores. It's well worth it to treat yourself to one of these beauties. The alpine milk is really something. Made is Germany as well so we know it's going to be legit.
