During the last post-Christmas sale at my local garden center, I bought this stuffed reindeer as a toy for my puppy as the reindeer was knocked down to half price since it got separated the book. This toy is very well stitched, it isn't filled with noxious plastic beads and the eyes are stitched on tight and are not plastic. My dogs absolutely adores the thing. They run around and shake it it wildly and play tug-a-war with it, but it hasn't torn like most of their other toys. This year I purchased a second one so they each have their own then gave the book away to a friend to read to her toddler grandchild this Christmas.

Made the family complete this year! I just bought one for my grandkids and their elf collection. Must have! I need one more!

Since we already had an elf (Joey), I didnt want to add another elf to the mix, so opted for an elf pet.....BEST DECISION EVER! The book that comes with the reindeer is very sweet, possibly written/ worded a little hard for younger kids to read, but they can definitely understand from the pictures.I love that my boys can hold, sleep, toss this elf pet around without ruining any magic (wink), like Joey has. The book reads that the heart jewel around the reindeer's neck stores all the happy memories, love and joy and on Christmas Eve all the memories helps the reindeer get Santa (and Joey) home!!My boys (5&2) each take turns sleeping with him!Couldn't be happier with this purchase...plus cheaper than Target (win, win)!!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My husband and I started the Elf on the Shelf tradition several years ago with our three boys. I was so excited when I saw these Elf on the Shelf pets!! I ordered 2 and will have to order a 3rd for this year!! My two older boys love them and sleep with them every night!!! They are put away now and will come back to visit after Thanksgiving when our elf comes back. They were a great buy and came with a cute story to read as well!! The reindeer itself is high quality and withstood them playing with them daily and sleeping with them every night!! I will be ordering another one of these for my soon to be 3 year old as he was very upset last year when he didnt have one!

Very nice addition to our Elf on The Shelf family mythology. As we also introduced the Krampus in the Corner as a comic foil to Roddy (our Elf) this year, it was nice for him to have a trusty partner for his adventures. Unfortunately, we have an older child that is "post-belief" and loves stuffed animals. So we had to explain to our son that the reindeer had some special Santa errands to run to explain why she would leave Roddy's side from time to time (his Sissy absconded with it). Very happy with the purchase.

NO REINDEER PLUSH, JUST THE BOOK!!!! IT TOOK OVER 2 WEEKS TO COME. MY SON WAS SO DISAPPOINTED AFTER BEING SO EXCITING WAITING! I SEE SOMEONE SAID THE SAME AND WROTE SCAM.... I WAS HOPING IT WAS JUST AND ACCIDENT!!!!NOW I HAVE RO WASTE MY TIME ANS RETURN AND FIND ANOTHER SOMEWHERE ELSE!

My kids saw the ad on tv and asked me why our elf didn't have a reindeer. Well, i didn't have an answer for that so I told them to go ask the elf and then I went on amazon to buy the little guy.I'm a sucker for all the "elf magic". It brings so much joy to the kids. This is a great addition because the kids actually get to touch the reindeer and snuggle with it. The story itself is really adorable too. Plus you'll be using it for years of Christmas magic. You won't be disappointed
