In this primetime special, Rudy and his new friend Devray spend Halloween playing practical jokes on the elderly. The Cosby kids take aim on many people in the neighborhood including Searchlight Johnson and Mudfoot Brown. While attempting their Halloween mischief, the kids get the ultimate scare from the lady who lives in the spooky house by the graveyard. When some of the kids do not return from "trick-or-treating," which Cosby kid will show the most courage?

Nice Retro Halloween Special
This was a rather nice, family friendly Halloween special. I watched Fat Albert in reruns, but had never seen this special. Glad to add it to my halloween collection.

Fat Albert Nostalgia
What can I say about Fat Albert - if you grew up on this like I did, then you just have to have the Halloween special. My father used to rave about the talented Mr. Cosby and I remember watching Fat Albert all of the time with him. My brothers and sisters and I used to look forward to watching the special every Halloween and just laughing and laughing - good stuff! It is a shame my kids don't seem to wait in anticipation the way we did when we were kids for this and other holiday specials, but after I put them to bed I can stay up and be a kid again and enjoy a piece of my youth in peace! Enjoy!

Fat Albert Halloween Special
Hey, Hey, Hey! Join Fat Albert and the gang as they Trick or Treat their way around town meeting all sorts of characters like Mudfoot the bum. The story centers around Rudy and his new friend Devery as they plan to play nothing but crappy tricks on old folks as a mean joke. After Russell and Devery's little sister go up to a spooky old mansion and don't return, Fat Albert and the gang find the courage to "rescue" their little friends and get a big surprise about profiling people who seem strange or odd. Don't worry, Devery does get his comeuppance, lol! Loved this classic as a kid and I'm glad I have it now on dvd.

The Best of Classic Halloween Cartoons
Great Halloween Show. I saw this when it premiered on TV. I enjoyed it then and I truly enjoyed it now. I really love how Fat Albert always had the corny humor but it also always taught a message. The message here is never judge a book by its cover, or how someone looks. I love these old shows and Halloween is my favorite holiday. If you are looking to get a show for a younger child or just want something for your own inner child, then please add this to your cart. It is an underrated and almost always overlooked holiday special but its one that should be in your collection.
