VIV93, it's not so much your foot size as it is your ankle size... if you measure your ankle the way they show to, I would size down from your measurement, i.e., I measured at 32cm (a little less than 13"), so based on the Modvel chart, I needed a large brace. When I received the large and tried it on, it didn't provide the support I expected, so I reordered a medium (returned the large) and the support was much better. Hopefully this helps
