One night of use you may not feel anything, however after doing it 3 nights in a row my face did begin to peel (skin renewal) so I dialed it back to only 3 times a week. Absolute most important steps are to always apply a SMALL amount, you do not need a lot of retinol to see benefits. And never use the product in the morning because it interacts badly with your skin if exposed to sunlight.
