Works great and easy to apply/vacuum. Not perfumey at all. Best cleaner I've used and no soapy mess to deal with.

This Capture carpet cleaner has been a total lifesaver in a house with both a puppy and young kids. It’s incredibly effective at lifting tough stains—everything from muddy paw prints to juice spills. While some deeper stains might need a second application, it’s still one of the best carpet cleaners I’ve used. It doesn’t leave behind any strong odor, and it’s easy to apply without soaking the carpet. If you’ve got little mess-makers running around, this is a must-have for keeping your carpets looking fresh. I always keep a container on hand—highly recommend!

I wanted to clean my 10 yr old wool area rug, but didn't want to ruin it in the process. After a bit of research, I settled on this product. I followed the advice of other reviewers who suggested using a sifter to distribute the product onto the rug and a horse hair brush to work the product into the rug. Very good advice. The product was very chunky. The manufacturer should modify the lid into a shaker style for ease of use. The brush that came with the product was useless. It was too hard and it was misshapened by the shrink wrap. I used the entire 1lb container to clean my 6ft round rug. After I brushed the product into the rug, I let it sit for over an hour. I vacuumed the rug multiple times to make sure I got all of the product out of the rug. I don't see much of difference between the Before & After pictures. I am pleased that it didn't damage the rug. I do feel like my rug is cleaner and I would consider using this product again. All in all, it worked okay.

After multiple purchases with positive results, for some reason I added the pre-spray. This may or may not have contributed to the disappointing results, but what can I say? This time the results on this expensive, dense pile carpet were less than stellar. Maybe the spray made it stick. The stuff added a full residue look. Maybe the spray did nothing. Maybe my fault for not using it from the start. Whatever, at first Capture was amazing. The carpet was clean, revived, and inmates. After 3 or 4 uses, I think the powder has accumulated in the deep pile and now attracts even more dirt and just looks sad. Pets and anyone who stretches out on the carpet end up develop itchy spots Its’s all just a guess but ultimately it ends with cme buying more. Be patient. It’s only a rug.

wow. i never new you could “dry clean” carpet and upholstery at home. i was doing some research for my lovely vintage sofa that has seen better days. i did one cleaning with this “snow” and saw an incredible difference before and after. not only did it minimize stains and brighten but left a soft, fresh scent as well. it was easy to use and satisfying to vacuum.
