It fit my 9yr old just fine when I bought it for him.

Would this fit a 20something year old man with a full head of hair?

It is rather tight, if you had a full head of hair just dont try to strap the bottom and you will be ok

Will this fit a 5 year old ?

my granddaughter was 10 when she wore it 6 years ago. it may be a bit big, if it is stuff a few crumpled paper towels in the top

Will this fit an infant?

I would not recommend for an infant. It will fit too big. More for an older child.
