it is a straight cut and it fits over boots ok. it looks good and the jeans wear good too. your not tight in the endseans they are comfortable.

Q: what is 30 L mean ? is it 3o inc long ?

W is the waist and L is the inseam Length!, or pant leg length!

Q: Will these jeans stain where you sit with the cloth coloring ?

I have light colored leather seats in my Tahoe and have noticed that they are stained by my black jeans. I can clean the leather, but just be aware that when new, the dye from the jeans will rub off, especially on white underwear.

They fit like normal jeans, not skinny, not wide. If you purchase from Amazon you can always return them, correct?
