I selected this product because of the beautiful colors, and received a pleasant surprise. Leaves hair soft and clean. My curl pattern enhanced, with a beautiful fruity fragrance. I’m really impressed with this Cantu Shea Butter shampoo and conditioner set. The shampoo cleanses the scalp gently without stripping the hair, and it removes buildup really well. The conditioner is incredibly hydrating — it leaves my curls soft, easy to detangle, and full of shine. Both products have a creamy texture and a pleasant scent. I also love that they’re sulfate-free, which makes them perfect for natural curls, coils, and waves. After a few uses, my hair feels healthier, more moisturized, and much more defined. I have wavy hair and always had to deal with my hair looking frizzy after drying, even if I use leave in conditioner or moisturizing shampoos, this is the only shampoo that keeps my hair looking tamed and not frizzy. I highly recommend. Love that is free of nasty ingredients too!

Shampoo is thick, has a nice lather and a nice smell when first applying. After rinsing out, the smell is gone, leaving hair smelling clean. I cannot attest to extra product removal since I don't use them often. Conditioner is light. I like to use conditioner to detangle my wet curls and this conditioner becomes foamy and lathers well when I comb through my hair. The foamy lather helps spread the conditioner after you apply a small amount towards ends of hair. The bottles look small but the amount inside decreases slower than I expected. I feel like my hair is healthier but I am not sure because I recently trimmed my split ends. If you are used to using many other products after washing, this may be a good option because of the clarifying shampoo and the light conditioner.
