Q: Is it recommended these towels be washed before using?

I don’t know if it’s recommended by the manufacturer, but I always do. I think that washing before the first use removes any surface material that comes with this kind of fabric. These towels are really nice and very absorbent.

Q: What are the sizes of each piece in the set?

The Amazon website states the following dimensions: Bath Towel; 54"x 30:, Hand Towel: 28"x16", and Washcloth: 12"x12". After laundering these towels, my measurements are: Bath Towel: 51"x29", Hand Towel: 26"x15" and Washcloth: 11"x11". I hope this helps.

Q: I am considering the Platinum set.....is it a stone, taupe or gray color?

It's gray. No two ways about it. My bathroom colors are an earthy brown and these towels, although I like them, are GRAY. They don't offer any brown tones.

Q: What are the dimensions of the bath sheet?

The bath sheet tags and box say 30" x 62", and I measured to confirm. :)
