When all else fails, this is the food to get for dogs with sensitive stomachs!
Long story short: If you've tried other "sensitive stomach" dog foods and had no luck, this is the one to get. Dogs love the taste and it helps TREMENDOUSLY with keeping consistent regular bowel movements. I have a 70 lbs German Shepard mix that my family adopted about three years ago. The rescue knew nothing about her history other than she was found as a stray hiding in a swamp. While she is an incredible dog, after a couple of months we discovered that she would stop eating her food, have horrible diarrhea, or both. We went to the vet, we tried all different types of commercial dog food, and we even started making food for her. No matter what food we tried, she would do great for one or two months, and we'd start all over again. After going through a special diet protocol with our vet, we found that other than some grains, she really wasn't allergic to much. Unfortunately, her stomach just seems to act up occasionally and when it does she would have severe bowel issues. After trying multiple attempts at different foods including the Hills ID food, I happened to find this one. It's been a life saver. Not only does our dog love the taste of it (as well as our other dog who tries to sneak bites of it all the time), but no matter how her stomach is doing she doesn't get sick or have accidents anymore. We're going on over 6 months with this food and, while she may have occasional stomach flare ups, she continues to enjoy her food and have regular consistent bowel movements. I firmly believe the combination of being limited ingredient, the protein coming from eggs and potatoes not meat, being grain free, and the probiotics make all the difference. If you're familiar with FortiFlora as well as we are, you'll love this food for your dog.

If you have a doodle with a sensitive stomach..
My dog is a 85 pound doodle mix and has had stomach issues that led to vomiting and diarrhea for the past two years. We found out that he is sensitive to protein and cannot eat many commercial foods. For a while he was put on a food prescribed by his veterinarian but this option became really costly, really fast! I started to do some research because he could go through a $130 bag of the prescribed food in less than a month because of his size. This was not a sustainable cost for us. I came across Diamond Care Sensitive Stomach while searching on Amazon and decided to give it a try. We mixed this into his prescription food for about 2 weeks and gradually gave it to him on its own.. and success! He has been eating this food for over a month and has had no stomach sensitivity or accidents. We couldn’t be more happy with this product.

Great Food for our “Sensitive” Lab!!
Maggie, our 10 year-old black lab, has always had a sensitive stomach. Most of her poops have been runny and very smelly. It was not unusual for her to vomit at least once a week. She can not eat any dog food with chicken in it- her BM’s would 10x worse! I hesitated to order Diamond Care (Sensitive Stomach) as it seemed all about puppies but I didn’t know what else to do. Maggie loves the flavor and immediately ate it out of my hand. It’s only been a 3 days but so far no runny poops, no smell and no vomiting. I highly recommend this product- I love that it contains no grain or dyes but does contain probiotics! I bought the 8lb. bag to see if she likes it. Now that I know— I just ordered the 25 pound bag to arrive every 5 weeks! Update: We are now 3 weeks in & still no runny poops, no vomiting & no smell! This dog food is awesome! Thank you!

German shepherd - Skeletal to Chunky!
This is the only food my 10 year old German shepherd can eat. I also give him pancreatic enzymes. He was wasting away, and the first vet was going to let him die. The second vet recommended a food with hydrolyzed protein. This was not the first one I tried, but the first one he could digest. I’ve even had to cut back his portion to limit weight gain. We are grateful to this company for giving us more time with our darling.

It's working!
My 10 y.o. 80 lbs chocolate lab mix started having serious food sensitivities this year. He can't eat chicken, beef, salmon, lamb, etc. without getting vomiting and diarrhea eventually (usually within 1-2 weeks). I prefer to give him higher quality ingredient food with real meat and no meals, and this is the only food I can find for sensitive stomachs that meets this standard of quality. He's been on it for 1 month now and so far no episodes of vomiting/diarrhea! He gobbles food he likes, and he gobbles this food. It's possible he will develop an allergy to the egg protein in this, but for now it's working!

Had allergic reaction
I purchased this as a lower-priced alternative to hydrolyzed protein food from Royal Canin. I checked the ingredients to be sure there is no chicken product in it. Within 30 minutes my dog had a severe allergic reaction which brought on an anxiety attack and required medication. It only took 10 minutes for him to calm down a bit, but took two doses for comfort level to return. I wish manufacturers would create smaller packaging so that we can try new foods, particularly for dogs with sensitive stomachs. I'm stuck now because you wont take returns. Very unhappy.

Made an AMAZING difference!
Our girl was in really bad shape when we found her (and her 3 sisters, dumped in our ditch!) We adopted out 2 of the puppies and kept 2 ourselves. One sister did great on the high quality, chicken and rice kibble that our other dogs are on, but one sister struggled. She wouldn't put on much weight, her stools were runny, she threw up almoat every day. She just wasn't absorbing any nutrients I guess. We tried a few other high quality foods, with and without grain, but nothing agreed with her. This went on for the first 7 months or so with our vet's help. Then I saw this and read the reviews! We were so hopeful because so many others had the same problems with their pups. Oh my gosh!!! Within the week of starting this her belly FINALLY started filling out! No more vomiting, stools normal. She just turned 1 yr old and she looks amazing! We ran out of this once so had to give her the other food for a couple of days. I will never run out again! I am on the automatic delivery and am SO SO HAPPY that she is doing so well!!

I love this dog food but it became challenging to address Canadian customs so I asked if it could be returned. The company agreed to provide me with a refund even though there is a no refund policy on dog food orders.

While this is a great, totally high-quality food for some dogs, my Chow-Chow/Golden Retriever mix was allergic to it (egg) and he got to the point where he was throwing it back up again completely undigested. My Beagle, on the other hand, LOVES it and has no issues.
