Riplock Canopy is a Good Product
The canopy seems to be made well and is holding up with our high winds in South Texas. We have noticed some minor tears so far being up only 4 months. We continue to find other ways to secure it to our Pergola so that it does not rip anymore. Overall, I would buy it again and enjoy the shade it provides.

This needs grommets and ties to hold it down during windy times (I added my own).. Grommets to allow rain to come through would be helpful.

TERRIBLE REPLACEMENT PRODUCT
Let me start by saying that I very seldom ever write reviews. I gave it only 1 star, because zero stars isn’t an option.This canopy is TERRIBLE! I read the other reviews before purchasing this replacement, but thought the other reviewers were being dramatic. Not the case at all. The original Garden Winds canopy lasted 5+ years and only ripped during the high winds of Hurricane Harvey. It had been through high winds, downpours, and other bad weather conditions, without an issue. I NEVER took it down a single time.I purchased this thinking it would at least be a comparable replacement product, but it isn’t even close to the same material. When it rains, all of the water collects and pools, eventually causing sagging and dropping. A previous reviewer mentioned making grommet holes, but even after 15-20 of these, the water still collects in other areas. This canopy is basically a big tarp, so when there are high winds, it basically acts as a sail.Essentially, you have to take it off any time it rains, snows, ices, or if there are high winds, which defeats the purpose of having it all together.Giant waste of $150 in my opinion. I’ve had it less than 3 months and I’m throwing it away today.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Frustrating that it is advertised as a replacement but is really cheap material. I don't know what other choice I have so I guess I am stuck with it. Contemplated sending it back. Garden Winds is doing a real disservice to their customers. I was contemplating buying a second pergola but won't now due to the future being bleak in terms of replacing the canopy again.
