This is the most sublime tequila I have ever tasted Dangerously delightful

Have wanted to buy a good quality sipping tequila for some time and I was not disappointed, world away from the bog standard and too good to sully with any mixers. Stopper not really fit for purpose definitely style over substance, don't know why the top shelf spirits insist on this type of closure. Definite whiff of tequila on opening box but by pure luck 99.99% had stayed in the bottle. Would buy again were there not so many others to try.

Whilst in Texas we found some places did some tasting flights of Tequilas from different producers which typically consisted of a blanco (unaged), Reposado (aged a while perhaps up to a year) and an Anejo which is extra aged. As you can imagine the price tends to increase with the age and the tasting notes tend to get more poetic and make you want to stroke that beard (virtual or not). This very smooth tequila was our favourite out of all we tried and fantastic neat. This isn't for shots or Frozen Margaritas but for sipping. I'm not being a snob, the frozen margarita is the finest of slush puppies on a hot day but doesn't need you to take a bank loan out to make one.

As someone who used to despise Tequila I'm not going to claim to be an expert. But after going out a few months ago and someone bought the "expensive" tequila, I couldn't believe the difference from the usual cheap shots that had put me off the stuff in the first place. So I decided to buy a bottle of this as my first jaunt into the Tequila market. And I have to say this is a very pleasant Tequila. On a night in at my place it divided the room, with half saying it was disgusting and the other half saying it was one of the nicest they had tried. I still have to learn more about the different tequilas available, but the one thing that let me down with this Don Julio is it still has quite a harsh taste. It's hard to describe why it is still enjoyable but still harsh. Unfortunately I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the Tequila I am comparing this too, but I am on a quest to find it as I need that smoothness again!

This is my new favourite tequlia, it's just a shame it's not available in UK shops. I wouldn't say its worth 50 quid but they have you over a barrel when you cant get it anywhere else and can only order from places like amazon. The tequlia bottle is lovely and the flavour is fresh, sweet not so bitter like the tequila over here.

Fast delivery and it was packaged with care. Best value price. This type of tequila you don't find in a typical shop without paying a fortune. Salud Amigos!!

When it comes to comparing it with other famous tequillas, have to say I've tried better ones. Anyway, it is of high quality and goes well on any occasion. After all, being made of 100% blue agave, tequila is what makes our life on Earth better. Thank you Don Julio as it'll always be on my recommendation list.

Tequila de calidad, su precio es alto pero no tiene nada que ver con un tequila convencional, merece lampena pagarlo, sobre todo en ofertas reales como la de Amazon. Muy bueno
