Scholastic Success With Reading Comprehension, Grade 4 Illustrated Edition

I bought this workbook to help my 4th grader improve reading comprehension, and it's been great! The exercises are clear, engaging, and perfectly suited for their grade level. My child enjoys the colorful format, and it’s really helped boost confidence. Only downside is some sections feel a bit repetitive, but overall, it’s a solid resource. Highly recommend!

Great content and keeps my 4th graders interest.

The stories are interesting enough and just hard enough to continue to challenge my son and help him progress his reading comprehension. I like the length of each exercise because it really is what I would consider bite size for my son but still helps him build his skill set. The way the questions are set up forces his to reread and ensure he is getting the full meaning. It gives good structure for kids that need that to develop strong reading comprehension skills.Minus one star because it is a small book with only 24 exercises.

This workbook was just big enough to complete in 3 weeks. My daughter loved the stories and was engaged with the questions.

This book is perfect if you want to start a workshop with you child for summer .

I suggest purchasing for homeschooling or even practice work for home and/or over the summer!

Great workbook that covers the necessary reading skills needed for sucess in the 4th grade. Keep your student ready over the summer with the review of prevous grade, or it you would like to get a bit ahead, go for this book for upcoming grade. The reading skills really just build on those skills learned in 3rd grade with longer reading passages. I believe that the kids need to spend some summer time preparing for school while enjoying the summer, or this could be a great additional practice all year long as a supplemet, as the skills are so well explained, practiced, and tested with an answer key for busy parents. (Tear out the answer key if you think your child might have wondering eyes) The key is located at the back of the book and comes out easily.
