Body Fat scale pairs with a phone app, and also syncs with Fitbit. May require moistened feet.
UPDATED 6/29 after having more experience with it.I ordered this because I prefer a scale that automatically records values, and that also syncs with Fitbit. My feet are calloused and tend to be dry, and I discovered that to get Body Fat readings I have to moisten the bottoms of my feet.FEATURES- This is a Body Fat scale.- It also displays 12 other values (such as Subcutaneous Fat and Bone Mass), but only the values for Weight and Body Fat are saved. I suspect that at this price point the technology is unable to properly measure most of those other values. On the other hand, the Metabolic Age and Weight Control estimates may be helpful for suggesting your general shape. In my case I'm "younger" for my age (true), and could lose "9.9 lbs" (about right).- Easy to read in full or in dim light.- Turns on either by stepping on it, or if the scale has been used recently, by opening the app.- Displays a simple bar graph of your recent weights, plus colored arrows that show if you've improved or not.- It's 11 inches square, smaller than many scales. It takes up less space, and is easier to store. The size should not be a problem unless you are very wide.- Precision - The close repeat weight measurements seem to be real (rather than faked by showing the last reading).- Resolution - The specs on the bottom of the scale claim it can read to 0.1 lb for weights over 22 lb.- Accuracy - I'm 0.4 lbs heavier than with my Weight Watchers scale, but that's more in agreement with the medical clinic.APP- The app pairs with the scale via Bluetooth. It displays the values shown on the scale, and keeps track of your Weight and Body Fat readings. It also shows graphs, and lets you set simple goals.- It allows for multiple users, and the scale will automatically identify each, provided their weights are not too similar.- It syncs with Fitbit (confirmed) and supposedly with Google Fit.DATA TRANSFER- You can't export data from the scale app itself. However, data synced to third-party apps like Fitbit can be exported from those apps.BONUS FEATURE- You can also use this scale to weigh packages. They won't get confused with your personal weight records because they weigh much less.

Didn't think I'd much care for a smart scale, but I was wrong.
I remember seeing my first digital scales and thinking as the screen flashes with the slightest movement, some things should just remain analog with the simple needle etc.I've had or used more probably 6-10 digital scales in my life and this one handsdown (or feet?) has the sharpest LCD display.New to me was a digital scale that can actually weigh light things like in the case of my miniature pinscher at 5.55lbs. Like many of use, we previously had to weigh ourselves and then pick up the item, then subtract ourselves to find the weight of said light item.I was a little wary about installing another app on my phone for some janky health breakdown but I was actually quite impressed. I've never really needed anything besides looking at the mirror and engaging my own self-assessment to how I was feeling physically but the measurements featured by this scale, and communication onto ones phone for later deliberation took me by surprise. There are a slew of features: BMI, Body Fat%, Body Water, Muscle Mass, Weight (of course), Skeletal Muscles, Protein, BMR, Metabolic Age, Bone Mass, and some other interpretations. I'm sure the accuracy of some of these are debatable, but it can track trends and probably bring to light some deficiencies of concern. The app can log your trends and others of the house on your respective phones.Be sure to disconnect from the app after use or somebody stepping up on the scale will broadcast what a chunker they might be to you via bluetooth. It claims to eat three AAA per 9 months. Surely they could have put a lifepo4 battery in there with a USB C port?

Stylish scale with impressive accuracy and smart features
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I got this smart scale a few weeks ago, and I'm really happy with it. Its sleek black design looks amazing in my bathroom and matches my décor perfectly. It doesn't look like a typical, bulky scale.I'm most impressed by how accurate it is. The readings are consistent every time I step on it, and I love that it measures in 0.05-pound increments. The large LED display is super clear and easy to read, even in dim lighting. The colorful lights around the edges are a nice touch that makes the scale feel more premium. The app is pretty straightforward to use and tracks more than just weight. I can see my body fat percentage, muscle mass, and other metrics that help me better understand my overall health. It automatically syncs with my fitness apps, saving me from having to enter data manually. The platform is sturdy and has plenty of room for my feet. I also appreciate that it can handle different users — my whole family uses it without any issues. Setup was quick, and connecting to the app was painless.Overall, it's a solid upgrade from my old basic scale.

No go. Requires wifi connection and account before it can be used.
This unit requires you to set up an account, add an app to your phone, and uses your wifi network. I'm not willing to make the leap of faith in all the access it requires to use.All I can say for sure is it looks nice and the weight measurement is accurate.
