I'm so impressed with how much functionality and connectivity is packed into such a small size. The picture quality on the included screen is great, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that I can attach it to a TV for a huge display. I gave this to my gf's 7 year old for his bday and he LOVES it. We went to Myrtle Beach recently and he insisted on bringing it with us, lol. He didn't use it while we were there (of course), but he really needed to have it and was sure he would.The controls are intuitive and well laid out, and the thing is easy to use for all ages. Great value.

The media could not be loaded. This small desktop microscope has a camera and 7" IPS display screen instead of an eyepiece. It gives a clear view of what is under the objective lens under magnification, and also allows you to save a photo or HD video to the included 32gb Micro SD card. It also has a Micro-HDMI port and includes a MicroHDMI to HDMI cable so that you could display the view onto a classroom TV or projector.The microscope comes in its own rectangular foam padded carry/storage zippered case, which makes storing/stacking and carrying easy.It has a wheel adjustable Z height on the stage which makes focusing easy, and the 3 different magnification levels on the rotating set of 3 objective lenses are mostly para-focal, so if you focus with one lens, the other two lenses will be focused or very close to focused when you change magnifications.There are two white LED's to illuminate your sample, one below the stage looking up for translucent samples, and one above the stage pointing down for opaque samples. [You have to choose between the two lights byBelow the stage is a black plastic wheel with different sized openings (they are all open, no colored filters).The construction is mostly plastic, but everything feels solid and rigid and it works well. The unit has a rechargeable (and user replaceable) 2,000 mAh 18650 cell in the bottom. It charges via USB-C and the unit can run off of the battery or when powered by a wired USB-C cable (the package includes a US wall plug 5v 2A power block and a USB-A to USB-C power/charging cable.)Also included is a box of 10 specimen slides, 5 empty and 5 already populated with example specimens. Overall it is an easy to use student microscope, and very useful if you want to share digital photos or videos of what you are seeing, either via the HDMI cable or pulling the files off of the microSD card.

Just to be clear, this is NOT a toy, nor is it "Industrial grade", it's in a wonderful fairly affordable place that's great for students of all ages.I was attracted to this because I already have a amazing 8 inch screen magnifier from TOMLOV (a well respect company in this field). I use that for Electronics repair and hobby work. The difference to this is the lenses and the platform. This is designed for much closer work using the tried and true rotating 3 lens system microscopes have used for ages.I got this for my two great nephews and of course, because I have a similar system I got tapped as "the expert" (LOL) to set it up and show it to them.As on my unit, the fit and finish is EXCELLENT, the controls are smooth and well thought out, and the lenses are better than I expected at this price point. That it can output to a projector, monitor or TV as well is fantastic, and my Teacher Niece started eying for her classroom. I told her she couldn't swipe it from her sons! ;)Although not inexpensive, you really get your money's worth here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This little microscope is very impressive!To be honest, I picked this up for myself. As a kid, I had a little microscope, albeit nothing like this, and thoroughly enjoyed looking at all of the wonderful details of nature. It spurred my interest and later a degree in biology so I couldn't pass up the opportunity for a little nostalgia - and with technology today, it's even better.This scope is great with the upper & lower illumination allowing one to view different layers, focusing is very easy, and the zoom feature works exceptionally well but being able to save what is viewed via photos & video brings it over the top. The clarity in both is excellent for the hobbyist or young student.The scope comes in a very nice storage case that houses the unit along with its cables and a slide box. Five prepared slides are included along with blanks to create your own as well as a measuring plate. Additionally, it can be connected via usb to a computer where even more options exist for analysis.Overall, this is a great biologic microscope that is easy to use & ready for hours of discovery.

I was really surprised at the quality of this telescope. It sounds silly, but I ordered this scope for my husband to use. He loves fossil hunting, and this scope allows him to examine his finds closely. The picture quality is great for a small amateur scope, and it is very easy to use. It was easy to connect to his phone, and he is able to share images with his rock-hunting buddies. It seems a little pricey but I can tell you that it is well worth the price.

Value for money:Absolutely quality vs value here. Functionality:Worked perfectly, exceeded expectations Ease of use:I didn't even need to use the instructions it was so easy! However, I still did read them ! Connectivity:Getting the phone connected is a bit finicky but once you figure it out, it's a breeze the next time. Magnification:Better than the equipment we had in college to be honest, it is absolutely incredible. Picture quality:Focus is incredibly detailed.
