I love that it is not over the top fake orange tasting jello - it has a natural and subtle flavor. I think if you are someone that likes a lot of citric acid candy like jello you may not like this. I think this had a perfect amount of sweetness and orange. I had it plain and loved it. It would be great with pineapple and mango. The texture is SPOT ON...I just ordered the cherry and raspberry - I hope they taste as good. PS like others I am a vegan that needed this pre medical procedure....saved me!

Has a higher sugar content than I like. Does not have a strong flavor, I will use 1 cup juice and 1 cup water vs just water which I am sure will increase the flavor. But it was nice to find a jello that works for vegans for an occasional treat.

I don't know if I got a bad batch of this vegan jel, but it had the worst taste. I've never had this product before, so I don't know if this is normal, but I noticed an odd scent in the powder, almost a weird peppery scent. I made the jel anyway hoping that this odd smell would go away after I made the batch. NOPE. It tasted just as bad as it smelled... again almost a strange peppery flavor. I happened to buy the Simply Delish brand which I made at the same time... and Simply Delish tasted great, like the way I remember jello tasting. I really wish I could return the other two packages I have of the Bakol Jel Dessert. I'm never buying this brand again.

Huge amount of sugar in this product. I had to give it away.
