Works Great!
So happy I bought the Fiskars Loppers. They cut so well and smoothly. At the same time, I had ordered some pruners and had to return those. I wondered if maybe it was my hand strength that was the problem but as soon as I tried the loppers, I had no issues at all. I highly recommend these.

Fiskars makes the best Loppers. I have 3 of them now.
Bought this for my wife to use as it’s a little shorter and lighter but has a gearing system to allow cutting without too much straining. Save the cardboard wrapping with the model number and the receipt as they have like a 5 year warranty. Last store brand loppers I bought at Lowe’s failed after a few months of light usage and getting warranty service on Chinese made junk wasn’t worth the effort. They would have just replaced it with another piece of junk. Went with the Fiskars and its been working great with no problems.

you have to have space to open them wide
I put 4 STARS because depending on what situation you may not be able to open these wide enough to get a grip. Not because the object is too wide but because there are other branches too close to the one you're aiming for. I got the middle size because I saw that might be an issue with the longest one but now wish I'd gone for the shortest one. I may buy that too , later, just for that reason because these cut REALLY WELL.

So easy a great-grandma can use them
These loppers are so easy to use that this great-grandma can do it. I have over 90 trees so there is always some trimming to be done. These make it an easy task.

Sturdy, not good for hard woods.
Good until it wasn't. I tried to cut a 2" branch that was a harder wood and it twisted the blade and separated it. No longer does it cut clean. It is an awkward tool to use as it must be opened up all the way to slide a branch in to cut it.Powerful - YesSturdy - MostlyI will test out the warranty with Fiskars and see if I can get a replacement part.
