I accidentally burned our old vegetable steamer so I had to order another one. I was surprised at the very reasonable cost so I didn’t know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this product and although much smaller than the one I had it does the job and has more than sufficient space for what we steam. I highly recommend

The steamer is new, but the box of it has been opened. Maybe it’s a returned one. Fortunately, it’s absolutely new.

Would give this 5 ⭐ but its handle gets hot so it requires a pot holder when cooking. I thought this was the 21st century where pot/pan handles are designed so as not to get hot. All my other pans/pots don't do that, unfortunately this one does. Not enough of an issue to warrant a return so I will continue using it but going forward I will only purchase ones that keeps their handles cool.
