This is The One
I've been using this about three years now, so I guess it's safe to believe they aren't doing anything to ruin the formula and my life at the moment. I have MCAS, eczema and rosacea. I live in a place where the air sucks the hydration out of you with every breath. I tried SO MANY cleansers for eczema or sensitive skin. Everything every doctor recommended. Prescriptions. Forum suggestions. I've read hundreds, if not thousands, of ingredient labels. I'm allergic to lots of ingredients no one even considers a possible risk. I've made DIY cleansers, used yogurt and honey, high-end systems, just organic oils... Piles of money down the toilet just for more disappointment and misery. All I know is that this cleanser doesn't have any of my allergens, is the ONLY one I've found that doesn't trigger eczema or hives, doesn't leave my skin completely stripped or greasy, and doesn't require refrigeration or a bunch of extra steps. It doesn't leave me worse than before I used it. It's a little thin for this system of delivery, so I use a pump on this bottle that fits from a different product, and it's PERFECT. Otherwise, things can get a little slurpy and inconsistent. *I AM NOT REQUESTING ANY CHANGES TO THE FORMULA. I JUST LIKE USING THE PUMP. It has a subtle mica lustre, so it doesn't just disappear in your hand or on your applicator in the shower. It doesn't seem to have any fragrance, but the ingredients together seem to have a very vaguely sweet smell. I say this only because some "unscented" products either have a strong "blocking" fragrance that they pretend doesn't count, or the ingredients come off vaguely rancid. This is neither. Just very fresh, high-quality ingredients and no downside. It kind of just leaves my skin and my immune system neutral, which is the better than I dared hope for.

The Clean Ingredients alone are worth the money, but there's more...
I absolutely love this company, I cannot say enough good things about them. I will start with, I never realized I had super sensitive skin until I switched to Era Organics. I just thought I had bad adult acne and redness was normal. I just kinda thought my skin doesnt look like other girls I just dont have that glow, or whatever. Well I am a "clean products/clean food/organic" person so I stumbled onto their products. I started with the Complete Lotion and that made a HUGE difference. Mostly cleared up the redness and problems. I was in awe. I was still having redness and sensitivity and I learned about balancing PH. So I switched to this cleanser because I knew it would help balance PH more (balanced PH= less dryness AND less redness, depending on if PH is too high or too low). And it wasn't getting better until I quit using acidic toner (Has nothing to to with Era Organics, it was like self sabatoge until I stopped doing that.) As soon as I stopped using an Acidic Toner, and was using the Era Organics Cleanser and Complete lotion... WOW. I literally did not know my skin could do that. It has been healed. Seriously. This cleanser is kind of pearly and thick, not too thin. But not like a cream. A little goes a long way if you really work with it, and I'm sure even further if you use a clarisonic or a Foreo, etc. I wear heavy make up and this does a pretty good job of getting it off, but if my makeup is very heavy I will mix this with one of their exfoliators and that does the job. PROS: - It has Perfect PH. That is a secret weapon with skin. Very few skin products and cleansers do that. Even the most expensive ones. - It has all organic ingredients. (Which maybe you don't care about that, but your skin absorbs the chemicals in products in less than 60 seconds, straight to your bloodstream. (Making it more toxic than food as far as going to your bloodstream). - The customer service is unlike any company I've ever worked with. They are personable, give discounts frequently and give their loyal customers some SERIOUS hookups. - If your skin is sensitive it will eat this up. Its soooo good for you. And it can heal even the most stubborn skin. (***Also, just a tip for anyone else struggling with major issues. I figured out my cystic acne was linked to processed sugar. There are some things not even the best skin care can fix, like that for me. But regardless, this product helps heal it 10x faster. But if you're still having issues after switching to these products that could be part of the issue. I know others who have had the same issues but with dairy. Etc.) But seriously I love this company and will continue to be a very loyal customer. It is truly worth the money.

Good Product!
I was a little skeptical about this cleanser but chose to buy it based on good reviews and the fact that it works well on sensitive skin. I mostly use it before bed as it feels cool and calming on my skin. It has more of a cream consistency and does not lather up very much. The smell is ok; barely noticeable and neither bad nor great. The product itself is glittery but it doesn't leave glitter residue on the face. It's too soon to notice long term results; my skin feels hydrated and super softer after I use it (mind you I have VERY dry skin!) but it doesn't do much for the redness on my cheeks and forehead (which is no surprise as very few non prescription products will help that). Bottom line: I'd repurchase this cleanser for night time use, or when I want to use a milder face wash. I also love that it's natural. You can definitely feel the difference from other face washes because of how mild and non harming it feels on your skin. Good product!

JUST LOVE IT!!
Please see my reviews on their other product pages as well :) This is the BEST natural face wash I have ever used!! It cleans, and moisturizes in one treatment. I have rosacea and the medication gel I use dries the skin. I have to be careful not to use products with fragrance and oil which aggravate my particular type of rosacea. This works perfectly. Cleans with no tight feeling, not greasy, neutralizes the skins PH; also feeds and nourishes my skin. Top of the line ingredients. I never have to use additional moisture with my skin. THIS PRODUCT IS ALL I NEED. Of course, each individual will adjust to their own needs. I have spent hours researching products and so glad I tried E-ra Organics. Another additional perk is the wonderful customer service. This is rare in today's business world. You will not be sorry by any purchase of their products :) 1/27/16 I have been using this face wash for 3 months and will not use anything else. Let me share with you that I have rosacea, the kind that has breakouts. The dermatologist has me on a twice a day topical medicated gel. For face washs I tried Cereve; Cetephil and Nutregen--all of them added to the problem with further breakouts. Since using this face wash I have now beautiful clear skin, it feels moisturized and soft and no breakouts!!! I have not had to use the medicated topical gel but occasionally and for just once a day :) I am so happy to share that I use nothing else on my face---I will be sharing this with my dermatologist so that he can share with other patients that might be helped also. Remember to be patient; each one is different and each problem is different. You know your own condition best. This does not dry the skin, but softens and moisturizers gently. Forgot to mention, soon I am sure I will not need any topical Rx and just be using this healing, soothing, gentle, non-drying face wash. JUST LOVE IT!!!!

Excellent natural cleanser for (some?) skin types!
I'm 35 and I have continued to struggle with cystic acne, large pores, and oily skin. While some products have helped initially, I have never had beautiful clear skin. Many have told me that large pores and other skin conditions are genetic and that nothing would solve my problem. I have been using the Era Organics Natural Face Wash along with the Natural Face Moisturizer Cream for a little over a week and I already see changes in my face. My pores are smaller, my skin tone has evened out, and my skin is very soft. I have had a pimple here and there around my mouth, but that appears to be more hormonal. The Face Wash does not foam like other cleansers (chemicals are typically added to create the foam - this is all natural) but my skin definitely feels clean and healthy afterward. I look forward to see how much my skin improves over the next month! 8/2/2016 UPDATE: I have been using this cleanser and the moisture cream for a few weeks now and while I initially saw positive effects, over the last two weeks my skin has gotten significantly worse. While the pores around my nose area have definitely become smaller, I have had a number of significant breakouts on my forehead, cheeks, and chin. This could, however, just be my own personal skin type and it may work great for others.

A Miracle for Perioral Dermatitis!
After finding out I was pregnant I noticed a strange (what I thought was a) dry patch on the corner of my nose. It started to spread and turn even redder and bumpy. I finally went to my doctor after it spread to above my lip and over to the other side of my nose and under my eyes. She was pretty unhelpful (shocking) and didn't know what it was so she prescribed me a steroid cream that she said was safe to take during pregnancy. The rash did start to recede and the redness toned down so I stopped using the cream since I was still unsure about suing a steroid while pregnant. Well as soon as I stopped the rash came back. So I googled "rash on sides of nose and under eye" and the first thing that came up was Perioral Dermatitis, the description and the pictures matched exactly what I had (my doctor spent 90% of my visit on her lap top you'd think she'd be able to figure it out before I did). It turns out, a steroid cream is the worst thing you can use because as soon as you stop using it the rash comes back and sometimes comes back even worse (thanks Doc!) So I googled some natural remedies for it. I tried coconut oil, aloe vera, apple cider vinegar, an English diaper rash cream, getting rid of tooth paste and shampoos with sodium lauryl sulfate, nothing really seemed to help. Then I came across something that said Manuka Honey can pretty much clear up anything. So I came on Amazon and searched for Manuka Honey and found this face wash that had rave reviews from other people suffering from Perioral Dermatitis. I started washing my face with it with cool water and within a few days I could tell it was working! So I bought the Era Organics Complete moisturizer and now it's cleared up even more! It's way less red than it was and my skin is starting to smooth out and become less bumpy. I've been using the face wash for 5 days and the moisturizer for 2 and I'd say the rash is almost 80% gone. Its starting to dry out a little bit so I just ordered the Era Organics facial scrub to help get rid of the pieces of dry skin. I'm so so happy I found this!!! I thought I was going to have to deal with this for the remainder of my pregnancy (5 more months!) and I'm so glad that I don't!

After using product for 6 weeks....
I have been using the face wash and the moisturizer for 6 weeks. I am over 50 and have been experiencing enlarged pores and combination skin with occasional breakouts. I read all the information on the website about this product and even had an email exchange with the owner. I had never been educated in the ph level of my skin and how using products with too a high a ph level could damage my skin. I spend well over $1000. a year in skin care to have no appreciable difference in my skin for years now. I have not been using cheap skin care, I have always been a believer in you pay for the best ingredients. With just 2 weeks of using both the face wash and moisturizer I could see my skin become new, like it was healing and completely different. Different in that my pores are smaller, my skin is so smooth and has a firmness that it has not had since I was in my twenties. I feel like my face detoxed in the first week, like the blackheads and clogged pores were unclogging themselves. I have never experienced anything like it. I realize now that by using facial products that had a different ph level than my skin meant that my skin just couldn't fully function therefore never heal, so I would get into a never ending cycle of handling the bad effects of using the wrong ph level products with more wrong ph level products and on and on and on I have gone. I now see and feel the difference. I felt like I needed more and more exfoliation type products and I bought into the idea that with my age, my skin was needing to have layers peeled off to reveal more youthful skin. Now with using these products and only these 2 products day and night my skin is no longer fighting with me and it is truly more beautiful and youthful. I also am wearing less makeup to cover the imperfections as the imperfections are less and less. The owner has told me that they are developing of a mask which I look forward to using.

BEWARE - this product has a toxic ingredient that can harm your eyes!
It's the second ingredient on the list, Cocamidopropyl Betaine , so there's a lot of it. It is a chemical, not a natural or organic product. Too bad I waited til this morning to research side effects (well I couldn't see the bottle or the monitor when it first started for the burning tears) - do your own research and you will find all kinds of articles about what it can do to your eyes and several call it toxic. It was named "Allergen of the Year" for body products in 2004. There's no point in checking further on the ingredient list as this one covers all my symptoms. Other people have experienced the same extreme irritation from other products containing it that I did, the outer corners of my eyes felt like they had been rubbed with acid and no amount of face cream or lotion would soothe it. Some managed to migrate in my eyes when I was rinsing my face on January 16th (I was trying to be so careful to keep it out of my eyes but apparently didn't) and it set up an immediate and acute inflammation of burning and watering, constant tears for the next 18 days before I had a full day of no tears but still scary blurred vision, then it started again when I had to go outside. I didn't go to a doctor because Tyler said he isn't aware of anything in the product that can cause irritation, so I thought it was just another allergy on my long list like peeling onions and would quickly go away on its own. I emailed Tyler on the 16th about the burning tears, again on the 17th, the 18th, the 19th, and the 22nd telling him repeatedly just how bad the reaction was. Not once did he suggest I needed to get them flushed out with water which is the official recommendation for eye contact with this chemical, only to say he didn't know what it could be. As the owner of the company he should be fully aware of all ingredients used and all possible side effects and should have informed me on the 16th I needed medical attention. It caused allergic conjunctivitis and corneal irritation, had to wash my face multiple times every day to get the salty crust off my cheeks from the tears that turned my skin raw. My eyeballs were red, my eyelids a brownish red rim around them from the inflammation. The burning pain was at least a 9 to start with unless I had my eyes closed after eye drops, so most of the past 6 weeks has been totally wasted with my eyes closed, when you can't see you can't do anything at all. My eyes became extremely sensitive to cold temps and moving air in the beginning, so going outside was like having knives stabbed in my eyeballs even wearing safety goggles. Every time they would improve a little, I would have to go outside and the cold would trigger a setback. I was told by my hairdresser on Feb 19th when she saw my eyes that it was chemical conjunctivitis, it had happened to her (different product) and that I should have gone to the ER right away to get them flushed - I had never heard of conjunctivitis so I had no way of knowing this. Of course after 5 weeks there was no point but I did get the earliest appointment with my eye doctor. Here it is 6 weeks later and the watering has finally almost stopped (3rd day now), the burning sensation is down to about a 1 but both eyeballs are still red and they hurt, they just ache - moving around the house creates enough air movement to cause pain. How in the world can a company expect a face cleanser to not ever end up in your eyes??? The bottle says "Avoid contact with eyes. If discomfort occurs discontinue use." According to HERA It should say: "Immediate eye rinsing with water for several minutes is recommended after accidental splashing of CAPB solutions, as eye irritation reactions may occur." I went to my eye doctor (optometrist) who said the good news was it didn't appear to have done any permanent damage to my cornea or the back of my eye. If the redness and eyeball pain continues I'll have to go to an ophthalmologist and see what else happened. I also read where some of Burt's Bees products contain it, so now it will be my #1 ingredient to check for before buying any new product. I'm desperate for a good face cream for sensitive skin after Neutrogena discontinued their Ageless Essentials, the reason I tried this Era-Organics brand. I think it's very irresponsible for this company to use an ingredient in a face product without doing the research to know side effects. Cocamidopropyl Betaine May contain harmful impurities or form toxic breakdown products, itching, burning and blistering of skin. Synthesized from coconuts, this chemical is found in body products and may be labeled natural or organic.
