My Father had a kit like this when I grew up 50 years ago. I had a few odd and end shoe polish items. This one SO worth the investment!! Complete kit, with all you'll need. A variety of shoe creams, MANY utility brushes to satisfy your every need, and cloths. Ample room to add my existing collection of shoe polishes and brushes. If you are serious about shoe care, and a QUALITY product that meets every need, THIS is the kit. I did my research, saw one or two comments about box quality. My box is exceptional quality, lock, hinge, dove tailed cedar wood. Will purchase one for my son and father in law for the holidays. My husband was so delighted, he didn’t think these were available anymore. It is perfect, the only thing is I wish the containers of polish were a bit larger..

You get lots of products in this kit but to box itself needs some type of coating on it to keep it from crackin.

I live on a 7 acre home just outside of a small city. We have 2 dogs, 2 goats, 3 cats, and 3 peacocks. This makes it tough to keep my shoes shiny but this premium shoe shine kit by Footfitter helps me do just that. The box, although not large, seems sturdy enough for light to medium handling and has some extra room for the shoe care items I had already owned. The price of this premium kit might seem on the high end, but in reality, a kit that includes a decent box and supplies starts in this range from dedicated shoe care sources found elsewhereon the web. I think this will serve me well in the coming years.

The issue was not the quality of the product but the craftsmanship! When I received the box the hinges on the lid, terribly loose. Tried to re-tighten the hardware and it was stripped so I switched screws. The horse hair brushes seemed aesthetically nice but then I used it. The bristles continued falling out. It has been 2 weeks (3-4 uses a week), bristles still falling off. Lastly my personal opinion is the shoe creams are mediocre at best granted I use Saphir so perhaps my standards are a bit high but I’d rather not have the shoe creams and received 15 off my purchase. I would say it is a good starter box but with the price being almost 120.00 I expected more.
