This worked so much better than I expected. I have used edible gold paint before but from now on will use this instead. It’s extremely easy to apply and a little goes a long way. I used it over royal icing that had dried as well as a cookie without icing. It took a few coats to go over the blue royal icing, (I suspect had the icing been white, it would have required less to show gold color). I would recommend applying on a cookie without icing. It adheres great and really looks like shimmering gold. I applied it dry using a new small soft paint brush. Don’t use paint brushes with the stiff nylon bristles bc you lose more product that way. Highly recommend and will definitely reorder, although I think this container will last me a very long time. One thing to note, some gold specks (like glitter) showed on the cookie area where I did not apply but hardly enough to really notice but may be important if you are decorating small details.

I absolutely love this product. I have purchased several colors of this, and use it ALL THE TIME!!!! I love how you can mix more than you need and after it dries up you can just add more alcohol and it's ready to use again, so you don't waste any product!!! I hate being wasteful!!!! I highly recommend this product if you are wanting to add a metallic shine to your royal iced cookies. 10/10

Beautiful gold luster

I enjoyed this. It makes your favorite holiday desserts shine. This is a small amount but goes a long way. The grands had fun helping out with the gold.

I ordered the gold edible dust. Chose it to use for my moments when I want to feel luxurious, even with my food. I like how it makes food look, especially chicken wings and ribs.
