It always arrives well-packaged and fresh, with soft, green hay on top and a clean scent that small animals love. The way the bag is packed makes it look very full, so I feel like I am definitely get what I am paying for. The top layer of the bag usually has long, soft pieces that are perfect for feeding. As you get further into the bag, you may notice more small, broken pieces and tougher strands. There's also a fair amount of hay dust, especially near the bottom, which can be irritating if you have a sensitive nose — I tend to sneeze a lot when scooping it out. Still, the overall quality and portion size make this hay a reliable choice. It lasts a long time depending on how much you feed, and the price is very fair for how much you get. I would definitely buy it again — it’s a great staple for any small pet diet, just be aware of the dust if you’re sensitive.

Seems like every 2 or 3 orders I get an order of hay that smells foul and is very brown - My guinea pigs won't eat half of it. Quality is hit or miss.
