What conditions will these seeds grow in?

Lettuce thrives in cool temperatures, ideally between 60-70°F. It requires well-drained, fertile soil with a neutral pH and consistent moisture. Full sun to partial shade is best for growth. Protecting it from extreme heat and frost is important.

Will lettuce grow in warmer temperatures?

Lettuce seeds can go dormant above 75° to protect themselves from poor growing conditions. Those same temperatures can also cause already grown plants to "bolt", causing the plant to shoot up and leaves to grow bitter.

What is the germination rate of these seeds?

While germination rates vary from lot to lot, almost all lots will have a germination rate of 85% or higher.

How long from planting the seeds to harvesting lettuce?

Buttercrunch will be fully grown in 55-70 days, but can be harvested after about 30 days for baby greens.
