Absolutely need this, helps fire up those charcoals with ease!

This product doesn't really have the power to do the job. It had smoke coming out around it while it was running. It even has some melt on the plastic grill area

I decided to buy this charcoal starter because of the auto shut-off capability, and then being battery powered means not having to drag out extension cords for electricity. I've always been nervous about buying a looflighter or electric lighter for fear of forgetting to turn it off and walking out to a towering inferno. With the Barkmaster fast start blower, I don't have to worry about that. Three uses so far and it's done great!

The equipment turns on without even touching the button sometimes. Definitely have to store it without a battery in it.the case it comes in is good except it should have a net in it to keep the batteries in. Cause the car is very oversized for the size of the equipment.As for the actual purpose of the equipment, this it executes well. It got the fire going before the 7 minutes were up. We have a medium size big green egg.

I read the reviews, and the concept certainly made sense to me. So I bought it, knowing that if didn't work as advertised, I could send it back. On my first try, it cut off at least 15 minutes of start up time. And I feel confident that as I get used to it, I can increase the short cut by another 10 to 15 minutes. My only concern is the speed of the fan. I was expecting it to be a bit more powerful, but like II said, it does work.

I was a tad skeptical that it would work. But, it worked and I was cooking in no time. I've had my Green Egg over two years and frustrated that it can't get the coals to the temperature I desired. This blower fan is a Life-Saver and looking forwarding to grilling more in the future.

Seemed like a great little blower...really got the charcoal going quickly. But after three usages, the blower just quit! Tried new batteries, no luck. Couldn't see anything amiss, just stopped working. Too bad, because , when it worked, it worked great.
