This box is a beautiful part of making a fine Neapolitan pizza. After the dough rises in a bowl, the individual dough balls for the pizzas go into this box. After the dough "proofs" in the wooden Proofing Box it's easy to form the dough into a perfect crust for our Gozney oven.

This is nothing fancy, it's a basic wooden box in which to proof pizza and other types of dough. Although it's not exactly special, it is well made, the wood is pretty good quality, and it does exactly what it says it'll do and works great. The included wooden spatula is a nice touch, so 5 stars from me.

Very well constructed. Bought it for my son in law and was sceptical about it working. It really does rise the dough and it makes it flavorful. If you have someone who love to bake pizza, this is for you.

It's nice looking but mine came with a sickening odor in the box. I tried baking soda, letting it air out but the sour smell persisted. Thought maybe it was just a part of using a natural wood product but after proofing dough in the box the odor persisted into the pizza. Ultimately had to return. Update: After my return I was contacted by support. They told me that a food safe oil is applied to the boxes that can develop an odor after extended storage. They offered me a replacement. The new box did not contain the odor and is much better. The box is very nice looking and seems well constructed.

Be careful when you buy used but good. Packaged poorly resulting in damaged goods.
