IPOW 14.4" Extra Wide Comfortable Bike Seat is a game-changer for me. All these years, I'd never been comfortable while seated on a bike; after about 3 miles my butt bones would get very sore and, my perineum would get numb. It didn't matter how much gel my seats had and, gel seat covers provided minimal improvement. Last year I bought a 60lb. electric bike and had a Thudbuster installed, which significantly lessened the severity of road/off-road bumps. But, it didn't address the issues noted above. Nor did thickly-padded bike shorts resolve my issues. So, I did my research and bought the widest seat I could find; IPOW had favorable reviews and I rolled with it, so to speak. I'm not mechanically proficient, so it was installed for a minimal fee at a local bike shop, where the angle was properly adjusted.I RODE FOR MORE THAN 16 MILES AND ONLY EXPERIENCED MINOR BUTT SORENESS, which was a totally unique experience for me! And, incredibly, there was no numbness at all!! That's a quantum leap from my many years of biking discomfort. I weigh about 210lbs. and ride in an upright, non-aggressive manner, for which this extra extra wide seat is designed. The seat is firm, yet plush, due to high elasticity memory foam. Its width enables my weight to be distributed over a wider portion of my butt, because most of it is resting on top of the seat. The seat's width and design allow for better blood flow.Now, biking has become fun, not painful exercise. That means that I can ride further, which allows me to explore roads and destinations far beyond those that I'd be able to otherwise reach. For those without a special shock absorber post, IPOW has incorporated two suspension balls that will provide some relief from bumps.If you can relate to my former riding issues, do yourself a big favor and invest about 30 bucks for this seat; it can be returned [if still in new condition] in the unlikely event that it doesn't satisfy you.

I've got an old 21 speed Mongoose bike, and it's had a very nice but very narrow seat for almost 20 years. I used to ride it a LOT with no problem, but I stopped riding for several years and I'm trying to get back to it, but when I did, the seat HURT! And I'm not sure my motivation can withstand the adjustment period my butt bones need to get used to that seat again. SO I got this new bike seat! Installation was easy, it comes with that slot to fit the seat post into, OR, as in my bike's case, my seat post has latches that latch onto the rods on the bottom of the seat.Riding is a little different, it feels very different from my old narrow bike seat. With the narrow one all my weight is sitting on my sit bones and coccyx, on a Hard narrow seat, with the rest of my butt hanging off the sides. But, my thighs had total freedom. With this seat my weight rests on my cheeks on a cushy but firm cup winged seat. RELIEF! Now the back of my thighs come up against the front of those wings, but overall it's not uncomfortable, just very different from what I've been riding for 20 odd years.This seat is a major improvement over my old one for my current needs, and because of how comfortable it is, that is one less thing stopping me from riding my bike. Now I just gotta keep at it and let my thighs build up muscle again and my heart build stamina!

Good seat for you fat arses like me. I vouch for it on an indoor rig. Its comfortable and is far better then those hard skinny seats that are like torture, especially for men. Actually I'd even recommend this seat for skinny people, its quite good and very well made.

At first I didn’t like the look so much but after using this seat I highly recommend. The most comfortable bike seat I’ve ever had!

I have edited my review to reflect the stellar customer service. The company contacted me about my original review which appears below. They apologized and promptly refunded my money without me having to ask anything. More companies should be this open and honest.I have an Ecotric 26 Cheetah E-bike and the existing hardware that comes with the seat does not work on the bike post. The mechanism keept slipping to the point it makes the bike unridable. I switched out the existing hardware for the hardware that came with my bike and that was also a mistake as now the seat sits so far forward that you fight to not go over the handlebars. The plastic base is so flimsy that when you sit on it, and I'm a big guy (265 lbs), it bends downward only giving support in the middle of the seat. Long story short, I'm going back to my old seat. DO NOT BUY.
