SOLVED IDLE PROBLEM
SOLVED THE LOW IDLE PROBLEM, THAT I HAD ON COLD START UP. WORKS AS IT SHOULD. IDLES HIGHER WHEN ENGINE IS COLD, AND DROPS DOWN IDLE, TO CORRECT RPMS, WHEN ENGINE GETS WARM.

Defective part.
Sat on the bench in the box awhile. Many projects ongoing. Decided to work on the truck did a few things on the top. This part gives a code and runs poorly vs the OEM. Bought a new one from oreilys. Cost more but now it runs.

Fits like a glove.
Its actually a little longer. Everything fits, its just oddly longer or a bit bigger in size. It still seals and does its job though. So I have no complaint.

I don't know how long this will last, but my Ford Ranger now has the cold start high idle back to specs where it should be.

Was well worth the money
After looking on youtube to figure out what was causing the howling sound coming from my 1997 Ford Ranger 4x4 v6 4ltr manual . It was a 10 minute max job. Regular hand tools.
