The Lasfit T10 LEDs recognise the RAV4 canbus, which monitors for bulb filament failure. The products arrived promptly from the USA and provided a fantastic improvement on interior illumination over the miserable and dim Toyota OEM globes. I replaced 2 map lights, 2 sunshade/makeup lights, 1 trunk light, 2 external mirror puddle lamps You must use a plastic trim removal tool, the map console being the most difficult. An improvement would be a website download of the Fitting instructions/video

As they have only been installed now for 2 weeks, it's far too early to comment on their longevity. What I can say is that they provide a superior white light that makes it much easier to access/ egress the vehicle with safety and to read/find items in the car. The difficulty related to installing the lights relates to the way the car was assembled and the construction and design of the lenses in my car as manufactured.
