I received this kit today, was excited as I will be travelling soon. The bags seemed ok, pump was easy to use. As I was packing I had sealed a medium bag and it lost vacuum. Not sure if there was a hold or I didn't seal it properly. The other bags held vacuum and saved a ton of space in my suitcase. I will update after the trip, fingers crossed that they work. I chose the manual pump as it should be simple, no power issues, no battery to charge, time will tell. Post trip add on - I have to take the blame for obviously not sealing the bags properly. These bags work! I petal my clothes in them for my trip, and probably saved 1/3rd the space in my suitcase. Not only that but on return, I was able to organize my laundry into clean and worn bags for ease at home. These are easy to use, but pay attention to the seal. No holes and the they are durable. The pump works as it should. I was impressed. I changed back to 5 stars. Would buy again.

Made me save space in my luggage for my 3.5 week trip. Star loss as I find the rollup version not stellar. Works though. But not as ease with the ones that require the pump

I am very impressed with the variety of bag sizes as well as their quality. I was able to fit a king sized comforter, with cover in the largest bag. Pumping the larger bags is a little bit of an issue for me because of neck and back problems. I pumped approximately 1/2 the largest bag and my kids easily completed the rest. If the weren't around, I would have simply used the vacuum. Large bags are perfect for big blankets and sleeping bags that no longer have a cover or stay rolled up. I have a cat who has suddenly developed a desire to destroy the pillows in my house (🤷🏻‍♀️), so I have been placing extra pillows ( eg those from the spare bedroom) in medium sized bags, often two at a time, and hiding them in the closet until they are needed again. I also use medium and smaller bags to store seasonal clothing, labelling each bag with the name, season, size of clothes and year they were stored. My son uses the travel bags often and loves them. When I travel, I need to bring my special pillows,etc. I just vaccuum seal them, place them in the bottom my suitcase, leaving lots of room for everything else I want to take with me. I wish I had these bags when the boys were little. Back then, I would store hand-me-downs and gifts that didn't fit at the moment in big bins. These bags would have freed up so much room Btw, bags that were filled and sealed one year ago (unless the cat walked on them, my bad) are still firmly vacuum sealed and stacked in their appropriate closets. ***I highly recommend this product. *** (Just don't accidentally let you cat climb on them because their sharp claws will occasionally poke holes in the plastic, letting the air seep out. 🫣)

I used these to store clothes for about a year. Most of the bags stayed sealed and did exactly what they were supposed to. However, when I took everything out of storage, a few of the bags - mostly the larger ones - had lost their vacuum. I had sealed everything properly at the time using the sealing tool and made sure to take out as much air as I could with the pump. They seemed fine when I packed them. When I was trying to figure out why some of the bags didn’t stay sealed, I tried re-vacuuming them, and I could hear faint squeaking sounds - like air leaking through tiny holes. I couldn’t actually see the holes, and even when I tried to plug them with tape, it didn’t help. Just something to be aware of.
