It’s way too early to say how durable this closer is. I just installed it on the entry door of a small grocery store last week. It installed pretty easily. It came with templates for mounting either on the push side or pull side. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was because the screws they provided to attach the cover to the unit required a hex wrench. Yes, they provided the tool, but I don’t like it when you have to go and find the right size of a special tool just to get the cover off. And then it takes a different hex wrench to make adjustments. Yes, I know, you just save the two sizes of wrench that they provided. But where do you keep them where they won’t get moved or lost? To me, it’s much simpler to use very common screw heads that everyone has readily available. But that’s just me.
