why is this so expensive it's 10$ everywhere else?

for the guy saying to use hobbylinkjapan because their kits are cheaper, he is technically correct in that they're cheaper. but he's being disingenuous about it, because their shipping costs are astronomically high, making the kit genuinely more expensive than what you'd find on amazon typically. sure, you can get this kit there for $12. now add in the $45 shipping, and the fact that it'll also take near a month to arrive, and you now spent far more than the $30 on amazon with free shipping.

How tall is it once assembled?

This is about 12cm or 5.3 in tall when assembled

I have never built fundamental before. I have 0 experience, do you guys recommend this kit for someone with no experience in building gundams?

This is a HG kit and is beginner friendly, there is a full manual included that shows step by step assembly. Just take it slowly and follow the instructions, it should be fun and enjoyable. There is no glue needed, but a decent pair of nippers or cutters will help cut the parts from the runners. EG and HG class are beginner friendly, for more advanced kits can try RG and MG kits.
