Great build!!
This is so cool!! I enjoyed every minute building this! The instructions were clear, the wood was sturdy and it was an overall blast to make. The sun made it work, and it was good!!

*Hassle free exchange* Defective solar panel
*Edit: I tried to return this through the manufacture's website but that was futile because there is no contact info there. Luckily I was able return it through amazon hassle free and get a replacement sent out immediately. The replacement had a functioning solar panel and all of its pieces were intact. If you enjoy puzzles and little builds, you'll enjoy this. I would recommend it and say it's giftabletoo. This was such a fun little build. Unfortunately the solar panel does not work so the car won't move at all. I'm extremely disappointed because this was somewhat pricey. Because I build these as a hobby and collect them, it's worth the price tag if all the parts work. That was not the case with this particular build. I will reach out to the company to see if I can get a solar panel replacement and update my rating accordingly.

Fun model to build, despite solar panel issues.
This ROKR solar powered model is easy to assemble (not for kids below 10) but I had issue with the solar power. It did not work at all. There’s nothing in the instructions to troubleshoot the panel, except to make sure there’s enough light to power it. Overall, it’s an awesome wooden model and fun to build, thus the 4 star rating.

Happy little rover
Very cool little rover. The arms and heads articulate and the wheels turn. Has a nice little space on my shelf. I never tried the solar thing. This was one of the first ones I did. ROKR is def one of the best out there. Wood tricks has some cool stuff too if you like these types of puzzles at this level of quality.

Highly quality product
This is my fifth ROKR product that I have had the pleasure to assemble. I love that everything is well illustrated in the manual and that all the wood piece are clearly marked. I am looking forward to my next ROKR product.

Great for puzzle lovers- solar doesn’t work
I bought two of these as Christmas gifts: one for my nephew to work on with his mom (my sister) and one for my dad.It is smaller than I expected but that’s ok. Christmas and new years are puzzle time in my family, and that’s all we really get my dad. This year i wanted a different type of puzzle thrown in. As a mechanic and retired race car driver I thought this would could be a fun and different challenge, especially because he grew up building model cars.He started working on it Christmas evening and finished it the next afternoon. Unfortunately, the solar does not work. He tried spinning the wheels after having it out in the sun for a bit and he could feel the motor and gears trying to start working but after a good hour of nothing I realized this one is another dud solar pack like others had according to reviews.Overall, he enjoyed putting it together, especially after he started out by removing about half of the parts from the panels then read the instructions that said to remove them as needed. It was a little more challenging because he did that (he’s 75) but it was still not too bad. Having to build the tools at the beginning is very creative which I think is a great idea.My 10-yr-old nephew should be opening his this afternoon and I know he had fun with the marble run puzzles so this should also be a fun challenge for him to do with his mom. Hopefully the solar works on his.
