Alex Evenings Women's Tea Length Embroidered Bodice Mother of The Bride Gown, Wedding Guest Dress

I looked everywhere for a petite dress for my son's wedding and couldn't find one in the stores. I ordered the Alex Evenings Women's Tea Length Sequin Mock Dress (14 Petite). It fit me as almost like it was made for me, except it could have been a little shorter in the body. I am very happy with it. I am 147lbs and 5'1". I probably could fit the size 12 as well, but I like a looser fit to my clothes. The tea length is great because I don't have to have it shortened. Very elegant! I felt it was expensive, but compared to other dresses I see I think it is worth it, because the quality is high. Be careful when you receive it, because it came in a little box and I can see where an unsuspecting person would open the box with a knife, not realizing the dress is in the tiny box. I was surprised it wasn't wrinkled. Great fit!

Very fancy. It fit well and is comfortable. I like the sparkly top and flowy skirt. I bought navy and is quite dark.

Beautiful, but more dressy than I needed

I’m 5’2”, 119 lbs. I ordered a size 6 petite in Icy Orchid. I wore it to an afternoon wedding. I got lots of compliments on the dress. I would highly recommend AlexEvenings for any special occasion. The quality of craftsmanship is superior and worth the cost. You are worth it so treat yourself!

Icy Orchid, Size 12 This dress is true to color and was made well. It fit perfectly. The reason I had to return it was that the neckline in the back was a deep V-Back, not rounded as the online photo showed. I can’t wear that style and was disappointed that the dress was misrepresented.

I wore this to my son’s wedding. I needed tea length, as dress was semi-formal. This was perfect for mother of the groom - elegant and dressy without being showy. I tried the navy and the light blue. I was disappointed the light blue wasn’t a bit brighter blue - had a bit of gray undertones. But the wedding was in spring and everyone thought the light blue looked better on me, more flattering, and more appropriate for spring. I am 5’3” 115-120 lb. I usually wear size 8 or even 10. But the 6 fit me better. I also ended up with 6P, since I am not tall and the dress is below the knees. The regular 6 was too long. I had no trouble returning the dresses that didn’t fit or the navy I didn’t want. Just be careful when ordering this dress. I initially put my order in, and wondered why the total was so high. Turned out those particular dresses were through a third party and there was a shipping charge. I had to order the dress again to get the right size and color, and those came directly from Amazon, so free shipping as usual. No trouble with returning any of them (or shipping for returns). The dress was lovely and I got many compliments on how nice I looked. I loved the navy, but the light blue was definitely better on me. It’s pretty forgiving too with how it fits at the waist and hips, which I was very happy with. When I look at the pictures, it really was the right choice!

I bought this dress for a friend for her wedding. She was absolutely thrilled with the quality and how gorgeous she looked on her wedding day. Seeing her in it brought tears to my eyes. Just beautiful!!!
