I am a huge fan of Samyang Buldak products—they honestly release so many "banger" products, especially when it comes to their spicy lineup. I picked up the original Hot Chicken Flavor, and it does not disappoint. The Spice Level (Warning: It’s No Joke!) First things first: this ramen is no joke. The spice content is serious. If you do not like spicy food, or if you have a low tolerance for heat, this is probably not for you. You really have to enjoy the burn to appreciate this. However, for a spice lover like me, this is the sweet spot. I’ve tried the Buldak 2x Spicy, and honestly, that one is just too much. I can’t even enjoy the 2x because it’s just pure pain. But this original version? It is definitely spicy, but it is tolerable and actually good to eat. You get the kick without losing the flavor. Cooking Speed & Ease In terms of speed, I wasn't sure what to expect, but these are incredibly fast to make on a stove. It takes just a few minutes to boil the noodles and stir-fry them with the sauce. It’s a quick, hassle-free meal when you need something hot and fast. Value & Portion The value for money is great here. Not only is the flavor on point, but this stuff is actually filling. Some instant noodles leave you hungry an hour later, but a bowl of this really sits with you and leaves you satisfied. Conclusion If you are like me and love spicy food, this is a must-buy. It balances the heat perfectly compared to the unbearable 2x version. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a spicy, filling, and quick meal!

These noodles are absolutely incredible! The heat level is perfect - enough kick to wake up your taste buds without being overwhelming. The flavor is addictive and the spice builds nicely. Preparation is dead simple - boil, drain, mix the sauce, and you’re done in about 10 minutes. The noodles have great texture - chewy and substantial, not mushy like some instant varieties. The 5-pack is excellent value and I always keep them stocked. I’ve gone through dozens of these over the past year and the quality is consistently amazing. Very good taste, package came without any damage and nothing was opened. The smell is very spicy and depending on how you take heat this can make your nose churn (and throat). The appearance is like orangish and redish color combo. Be warned this does have LOTS of sodium and fat, but nothing to worry about if you just separate how much of it you actually eat.

My first time eating and written after eating this first bowel literally. I love spicy foods. I love the taste. I will say these taste sookk good but these are HOT. I'm not a person who is sensitive to spice. They are literally HOT. Like my lips felt numb at one point. My tounge prickled. I was sweating. I will use less of the sauce to finish the pack but I don't think I will buy these again because although they taste amazing the hotness out weighs the flavor and it's hard to get passed. The cooler they get in temperature the easier the hot flavor is to tolerate. People who love spicy food knows there's a difference between spice flavor and some heat. The flavor is so so so good. If you can tolerate the heat of them you'll LOVE these because they have a perfect spice flavor.
