Assembly is not too bad if you are good with picture instructions and attention to detail. Instructions had no text and you have to pay close attention the the orientation of pieces in the pictures (which side is forward, which way the bolt is going, etc.)It looks nice even though there were some scratches to the paint. It's not very noticeable once the bedding is in place. You could probably touch it up if you want.Our mattress slid around a lot when we first put it on but an anti-slip rug pad fixed it 100%.Didn't really creak at the beginning but after several months it does. Maybe tightening the bolts would help but I haven't gotten around to it yet.Overall, it's a good purchase if you're looking for a sturdy, inexpensive bed frame.

Compared to other bed frames I’ve had in the past, this was is sturdy and doesn’t creak when laying in it with my partner. It does take a little bit of time to put together, but nothing outrageous. The instructions and labels are clear and you should have it all ready to go within an hour or two. The black metal finish also looks pretty nice, especially with the headboard. For the price point, it’s really hard to beat this.

I bought this bedframe because I wanted a sturdy platform so I could get rid of my boxspring and I'm so happy I did. My boyfriend says the bed is addictive now. It has made the mattress so comfortable you don't want to get out of it. It took a little over an hour to assemble with 2 people. You may want a small mallet to help with the brackets on the headboard as they are a little tough to line up perfectly but other than that it was pretty straightforward. Once its together it doesn't move or shake. Very sturdy and a nice sitting height. I would definitely buy it again

I agree with most of the good reviews. The bed is easy to put together on the whole and is extremely sturdy. So far there is no annoying noise, jiggling, wobbling, rocking, or the like. It's far more solid than the floor it's sitting on. I put a Milliard Twin XL mattress on it which I had been using for several years on the floor; and they make a very comfortable combination for me. I'm 5' 9" and weigh 150 lb. In addition, the frame weighs about half as much as some of the competing frames. This makes it easy to assemble without help and to move around.I deducted a star because the frame, although it looks okay, is very institutional looking. They might think of offering some other colors or some trim. Also, I had trouble aligning the holes in the cross piece of the headboard. I finally had to remove all other bolts,, bolt on the cross piece, and then finish assembling the headboard. In addition, there seemed to be a missing part; but it turned out that they had simply mislabeled some parts. Once I looked back at the illustration, I realized what was wrong. They even provided one extra of each type of bolt.I would buy again; but I might paint it at some point.

Bought this bed for my Uncle who is 6'3" and weighs over 340lbs. It worked out perfectly! No need for a box spring and it is extremely sturdy. The only minor complaint I had is that putting it together the instructions could have been a little better so make sure you have the headboard setup on the correct side or you will have to do it all over again. Other than that, buy the bed and enjoy.

I was very hesitant to buy a bed online without having touched it or seen it. I took the leap and assembled this bed to hold our new king size nectar mattress. We are 3 weeks in and it is incredibly sturdy. I have not heard a sound from it and it supports the mattress well without a box spring. Our five year old had jumped on it and it didn’t flex or squeak. It was difficult to find a frame that could support the weight of mattress, me,my husband, sometimes our daughter and our 90 pound Doberman, because most frames only support 500 pounds. This frame has supported the weigh without issue and has given our bedroom a nice updated look. I am so excited with how much I love this bed!

I’ve had this bed frame for over 2 years now. it’s made it through two moves. easy to take apart and reassemble. has held up fine. a few of the screw holes don’t line up but not in terrible places. the main one being at the top of the headboard but it still stays in place without a screw. not a bad bed frame but you basically can’t move in it without it squeaking.
