Why did you pick this product vs others?:Style, price. It was easy to setup. It runs very quiet and it produces ice fast. I am very pleased that i bought it.

Can be a bit noisy...but I also do need to spend a whole lot of time in my kitchen (so it doesn't really bother me). Makes the perfect ice to eat and keeps drinks cold. Its easy to set up and use.

First impression this machine is a small compact machine. Looks nice on the counter. Loader than my nugget ice maker. Makers nice chewable ice.Where it falls on its face. The machine has to be unplugged at least once a week to unthaw it's ice maker elevator. It makes a gosh dang load noise of it having issues and doesn't shut it's self off, which would be fine if it would correct it's self. Which maybe it does when Im not home. But the noise of it when home makes you think the thing is going to burst into flames. So unplug it for half hour and your good to go for another week or so.The return policy through Amazon is a joke. Think this ice maker comes with a longer extended warranty on its own.I dont know, it like to try another one just to see if it's just this machine. Not wanting to drop another 300 and a piece of crap.

Terrific! Only complaint would be that water container is small but makes i e fast and love the small ice pellets.

The media could not be loaded. It was great the first 3 months, now it just makes the loudest irritating sound and we can't make ice. Yes, I clean the machine and follow directions. I bought this 3 months and 5 days ago.

This is my second nugget ice machine. I originally bought an opal, which is now owned by GE. I purchased that when it was being crowdsourced. We had it for several years and loved it. But it broke down and I was looking for a replacement, hopefully one that is less expensive. We love this new Maksone. It is smaller and quieter and makes firmer ice. The design of the unit keeps the ice frozen longer so that it is less slushy. We are really enjoying it!
