is this boot for metatarsal fracture? thnks

Yes, the shorter boot provides too much movement of the foot which deters healing and doesn't support the soft tissue and ligaments that are usually damaged. I am currently in this boot provided by my orthopedist for a 5th metatarsal fracture. Healing time being 6-8 weeks with limited weight bearing. Hope this helped!!

I can see no reason for it not to be used on your left foot but I do not use mine on the left.
