Revlon Ultra HD Vinyl Lip Polish, Liquid Lipstick, Game On, Violet Gloss

The color is very dark. The lip polish is super thick so it is hard to apply evenly because it goes on so thick. I have other Revlon HD products that I love but this particular one is just way too much product in there and too thick.

Disappointed in the color. It is much lighter than the picture I see on the screen. I was expecting a grape and got more of an orchid. The color is not very saturated and it is not particularly shiny either.

Let me preface my review with the fact that I'm not a makeup person, I have only used lipstick or lip gloss a few times in my life. I love purple though, and Halloween is coming, so I wanted to try this gloss. I enjoyed this gloss. It went on smooth. I found it a little too thick and shiny for my liking, so I blotted it after application and it left my lips with just a little hint of color and shine which is more my style. I realize that blotting defeats the main purposes of the gloss, but I like how it looks and feels after blotting it. The gloss does not have a pungent odor like some makeup does, and it doesn't have much of a taste when you lick your lips/eat something.

A single swipe gives you great coverage, but I wouldn’t kiss anyone while wearing it because it’s so sticky. It feels fine going on and has a nice sheen to it, but if you press your lips together anytime afterward, they are going to stick together. It doesn’t degrade until you wipe it away or unless you eat and drink a lot and even then you’ll still have some coloring. It does smell like cheap grape candy but that odor dissipates quickly. Once removed I’m glad to say that my lips stayed soft and didn’t crack or feel chapped.
