Thin metal, not for heavy weight material.
Used these for supporting two and a half inch electrical conduit on a solar array thin clamp metal was flimsy but I think because it's stainless it's going to work just fine. Don't try supporting a lot of weight with these since the screw holes probably won't support much weight.

Just what I needed. Strong but flexible enough to be versatile.

Not very strong
I bought these to fasten an assembly made from 1.5" PVC pipe which supports a weather station to the framework of a raised vegetable bed. The assembly weighs about 20 pounds, and, because of its shape, exerts a fair amount of torque on the mounts. I abandoned my initial setup for reasons unconnected with these clamps - I found that I would need to be able to install guy ropes to stop the PVC pipe from excessive flexing - but the clamps were flexing and deforming under the load to an extent that would have been a significant problem even if the flexibility of the PVC pipe had not been an issue. I found that by using a pair of clamps together at each mounting point, with the rubber lining removed from the top one, I was able to mount my assembly reasonably securely. These clamps would almost certainly be suitable for use in more conventional situations where the pipe being mounted is not subjected to external forces, but they are made of fairly thin metal and do not cope well with even moderate stress.

These work great for my 2 1/2 inch dust collection system. They are very flexible but sturdy. I will be ordering more as my system expands

This is a cheap way to keep your pipes from banging and keeping you awake at night!
I have has an issue of banging pipes in my basement for about a year and got tired of the loud noises and finally saw that the original clamps which were installed 20+ years ago had cracked and were not supported the pipes so instead of calling a plumber and paying $800 I decided I would give this a try and have been up for 4 days now and no banging pipes!!!
