I have been using this FCOB LED light strip for about 4 months now. I have really put it through the ringer, so I feel good about recommending it. The entire thing, including the controller has gotten wet, and been caught in a strong rain storm and it is still working perfectly. I was very sure when I got caught in the strong storm and the controller got wet, that it would be ruined from the water. But I let it dry out for a couple days and it has still been working perfectly several months later. The FCOB LED light strip is much*** brighter than your standard LED light strip. I would say 2-4 times brighter!! I 100% recommend this FCOB LED Light strip!!!

This LED strip is perfect. The benefits of FCOB over IC LED strips are huge. The diffusion layer on this FCOB strip makes for a very uniform light. Even if this strip is directly facing the viewer, if they're reasonably far away, you don't need a diffusion channel to make it look good. Additionally, this strip is extremely dense, so it can draw a lot of power, but it's extremely bright. I measured about 130W at 100% brightness and RGB white. If you want something bright and well-diffused, this LED strip is great, but be warned, it will get very hot at full brightness, so it should probably be stuck to something metallic to help dissipate the heat, or just run it at a lower brightness because it's still insanely bright.
