I am very happy with this backpack. I tried out a few until I found this one and then returned all the rest. I took this to Guatemala and it not only fit everything I needed, but it held up and felt strong. It's got lots of great pockets of all types depending on what needs to be stashed. I love the pocket on the top flap that also holds the rain cover. I think the only thing I wish it had was a few more loops on the front to use carabiners to clip stuff to the outside, but it wasn't really a big deal. I recommend this backpack for anyone at all!

I've had this pack for about 2 years. Endless backpacking trips rain shine and snow. It's lasted. Great quality.

First, keep in mind this is an inexpensive pack. Second, it was made in China. It was not created for people who have curves/dimensions. The chest strap is inadequate for anyone, male or female, that has a larger chest. The way the pack sits on me, after adjusting shoulder straps is okay because I am short (5' 3"). While it has ample space, I don't like that there's no strapping at the bottom of pack for tent or sleeping bag. It does have top strapping and some side strapping so I will figure out something, I always do. The plastic buckles are crap. They could at least go with better buckles. It will suffice for emergency need but if you want to do serious backpacking, invest in a good, sturdy pack.

Recently completed a 3 week backpacking trip across Italy and Switzerland. The backpack worked perfectly.

The media could not be loaded. This backpack is abundant with pockets and storage capacity but it is on the large size so probably too much for a day trip up the mountain. The build quality is solid and the pockets are well designed with strong zippers and clips to reinforce them. The mesh helps keep you cool while giving you a little springiness to help absorb the shock. If you need to carry a lot of things for a weekend journey into nature, then you need a backpack this large, sturdy, and full of pockets. If you're a day hiker needing to bring stuff for a picnic, then this is probably a little overkill.

Amazing hiking backpack! I bought for my 18 year old son for a 10 day hiking trip to Isle Royale. He had to carry everything for 10 days plus group supplies in his pack. He isn’t a big kid at all, I was worried the pack would be heavy itself and not hold the weight proportional. He said the backpack carried all the weight equal and the waist strap was amazing! I loved how his sleeping bag fit in the front pocket and the bag has a rain cover.The backpack still looks like new after 10 days outside! Thank you for a great durable and economical product!

Pleasantly surprised by the quality and features. Super comfortable. I Took it on a 4 week hike around Europe and it never let me down once. Great value for money.
