Fit and feel are great. Quality appears good.
This pair of closed toe sandals fit perfectly on my foot. They are extremely comfortable whether walking, standing, or sitting. I previously had a pair of closed toe sandals by keen, and I wore them all the time in the summer. I abused them, wearing them in the water, and they lasted for over five years. With the way these feel and look, I am expecting the same type of performance. As you can see by the picture and the scuff on the toe, I’ve already protected my toe at least once. I tend to be a bit frugal with my money, but these sandals are well worth it.

Very comfortable
I absolutely LOVE the colors in these!! I do a lot of kayaking, so these are going to see a lot of water, but I also think they’re going to be my new everyday summer sandal. First try on, they fit great. Just a tad bit stiff/tight around the ankle, but I’m sure that’ll loosen up with time. Other than that, they’re perfect. Not too heavy, but still with a rugged sole and lots of protection for your foot. Arch support is amazing, the way it just cradles my feet. I think I’m definitely going to get my money’s worth out of these, in and out of the water.

Sandals look a bit goofy, but they’re incredibly comfortable.
The sandals look a bit goofy, but they’re incredibly comfortable. I’m between sizes—size 12 isn’t wide enough, and size 13 feels too long—so I hoped a 12 Wide would solve the problem. Unfortunately, it didn’t, and I ultimately went with the size 13. For reference, I usually wear size 12 and have a wide forefoot.

Snug
I've worn the Arroyo model for years, usually getting four or five years of everyday summer/fall wear out of each pair. I love how that model feels once the leather is broken in. With the soles wearing out on my current pair I decided to try out the Newport H2. (My very first pair of Keens was the original Newport model.) My initial reaction to the H2 as I began to fit the new pair to my foot was "Oh my gosh! I've ordered the totally wrong size!" The opening to insert your foot is REALLY snug... with my old, broken in sandals I will often (lazily) just slide my foot in without even bending over. I found that I had to really work that sandal onto my foot - so no lazy sliding on! Once on my foot, however, the fit seems fine. I did order a half size larger as many other recommended. In fact, I probably could have ordered a full size larger because I like to wear footie socks while hiking. The foot support is, like all Keens I've owned, better than other sandals and better than most summer shoes. I don't hesitate to use them for light hiking. They do not have the necessary ankle support for loaded hiking, but are great for wading or sitting around the campfire at the end of a rough day on the trail.

Multiple pairs fell apart in a week
I bought two pairs. Both fell apart within a week. Three weeks ago I bought a pair of Newport H2s. I wanted to like them. In less than a week the heel on both shoes was coming off. I contacted Amazon and they sent me a replacement pair. Within a week the sole is coming off again! (The pictures are the second pair). I used them very lightly (like walking around town) and didn’t even wear them every day. Temperatures never got above 83 Fahrenheit. I’ve been wearing Chacos for the past 15 years but Chaco quality has declined a lot. I was hoping these could take Chaco’s place. NOPE. This is extremely disappointing. If these would hold together they seem like a pretty solid design. But a shoe that loses its sole in less than a week of light use in moderate temperatures isn’t much of a shoe. I will not be buying Keens again. UPDATE: I had planned on never buying these again but found another pair for $20 at a clearance store, and like I said above I really want to like them, since it seems like a good design. I bought the discount pair and gave the keen Newport h2 a third chance. Third times a charm right? Wrong. This third pair held up longer (two months now) and I did beat them up a lot more (several technical slot canyons and a 17 mile overnight backpacking trip in water for almost the entire length) but after only two months the stitching is coming out in crucial places on both sandals. The reinforcement panel on the inside of the ankle on both sandals is coming off. This panel and its stitching keep the back-strap from ripping or tearing off. Without that panel the durability and integrity of the sandals is severely compromised. I’ll keep them and use them for light duty. After all this pair came from an outdoor gear clearance store and were only $20, but they are FAR from the workhorse outdoor adventure sandal I was hoping they would be. Unfortunately I cannot recommend these and I would discourage other buyers from purchasing them. Even though their quality has declined a lot over the past 15 years Chaco Z2s are still a much better choice for a durable outdoor adventure sandal.

Lovely sandal but could do better with a heel strap. Not good for high insteps.

This is my second pair of keen sandals! same product as last time, which I bought 5 years ago in Canada. I use them constantly throughout the summer months, wading in the surf and walking off road. Great product
