Great camera and picture for my Rv
I am loving this camera. Can see behind RV while towing. Great buy and a lot less expensive then others. I have had other camera brands that dont work as well as this one. Easy to install but make sure u buy the furion adapter plate if u need it. I would recommend this to anyone towing a camper. I feel more confident towing as long as i have this camera.

Good as backup camera, so-so as rearview camera. Very helpful support.
Update: Added 2 additional stars for customer service. The company responded to my original 3-star review and helped direct me to one of their alternate products that suited my application better. The alternative camera had significantly improved quality so I could use it as a rearview monitor and had a better installation. Replacing the camera with the other still only took a few minutes. If this particular camera doesn't work as needed for your application, reach out to Yakry's service for support.I used this with a 20' trailer. The installation was super easy, with significant help by seller providing an adaptor bracket and cable. I have to have the headlights on using the pre-wire mount. Display has multiple mounting options, but I opted for the suction cup so I didn't have to modify the car or mount anything permanently since I only use it for occasional towing. However, if you install on the Furrion pre-wire mount, the angle points significantly down so it is less useful as a rear-view camera, but works as a back-up camera. The on-road performance is mixed, sometimes the picture would lag and skip at moderate to highway speeds. I also had a few times where the camera or display would freeze and would have to power cycle to get it to work. Monitor is easy because of the button on 12v plug and I could turn the headlights off/on for the camera. However, it is annoying and distracting to troubleshoot - especially on a twisty road while towing. Overall, a mixed experience but the price was right and it does best as a backup camera which is the biggest safety advantage.

You need this for your RV/ maybe not!
Very easy to install! Please make sure you donot mount in place of center marker light without the light. DOT could issue you a citation. Clear picture and was so easy to install. Have not tried night vision as of yet but will update!Update: 07/2/2021 Just left for a fourth of July camping trip and camera was intermittent. Only the above tag mounted camera would work sometimes. Upon arrival at the campground I had to back in my spot in pouring down rain along w with no spotter. Backup mounted to the rear of rv only came on once for me to back up. When it worked it was fantastic. I dont know what to do at this point, sad!Customer service is OUTSTANDING, tech suggested re-pairing which I had already tried numerous times. I honestly believe it's a signal issue. The problem will be solved somehow and will again update.Update:10/07/2021 Left for a campground that I and my wife will be hosting at, camera worked very well as I had setup and moved camper several times due to sun and shade issues. Both installed camera worked great!!

Very easy company to deal with!
This camera is a great value. Not an HD picture, but for the price, it's great. I purchased this camera setup after buying a much longer (30 foot) travel trailer than I had been towing. I considered buying towing mirrors to better see the rear of the unit, but they would still leave the entire rear of the the unit a blind spot. Not only is this set up cheaper than add on cameras, it adds the ability to backup your rig without anyone guiding you. This not only save time, it saves marriages. First time out this past weekend, i had the campground ranger comment on how well I backed into the spot. First time, perfect. Even the slide out was just inside the spot, and clear of trees. hooked it up to the preexisting wiring for the furrion camera (simple one red, one black) and altered the mount to attach it. The wiring is tied to the lights on the trailer, so if you want to run the camera all the time, you just need to keep your lights on. Not a big deal. if you don't have the furrion rough in wiring, just tie it in to your center running light at the top of your unit. The night vision is as you would expect, black and white. Backing into a spot in the pitch black in one shot is PRICELESS. This company thought of everything it seems. They provide MULTIPLE mounting options, which is great. I did notice that the signal would drop frames sometimes on the road, they sent me an antennae that mounts magnetically to the roof, and now i drop no frames. They also sent me a free window suction cup mount for the monitor and a splitter for the cigarette outlet. All for FREE and arrived in 2 days. Outstanding!

Easy install and good connection. Signal is not bad.
I installed this camera as a backup camera on my 2016 Forest River Cherokee Grey Wolf 22RR. I had concerns about the signal reaching the truck from the end of this 28' toy hauler, but it did. I just have to be sure to have the receiver up high enough to receive the signal. While I'm sitting still it works pretty well, nice smooth picture considering it being a wireless signal. I have it wired in to the trailer lights, so I can actually turn the camera on while traveling. It works pretty well while moving slow, but the signal gets pretty patchy at higher speeds (over 30-35 mph). I can make it a little better by adjusting the receiver placement. An extended antenna or range extender would probably fix this quickly. This kit does come with about anything you need to hook it up and mount the camera and receiver (monitor) from brackets to wiring options (plugs/wires/connectors).I am very happy with this system. In my opinion it is good and much more affordable option to the Furrion system that the camper company and sales try to get you to buy for twice or more the price of this system. Wiring the camera in to my pre-existing wiring was simple and I had it up in running in less than 15 minutes.2014 GMC Sierra 1500 Double Cab w/ 6.5' bed2016 Forest River Cherokee Grey Wolf 22RR
