The spools are smaller than expected.These are not the most expensive brand, but also not the least expensive, kind of mid rangeI use on my Viking Jade 20. So far no breakage, but I also sew on the slowest speed setting, so that probably helps. It has been used on THICK quilt projects (up to 3/8") and no issues with thread breakingThe colors would go with most thread projects, but missing red and black, to make more complete overall color collectionIt comes with plastic thread nets, a super useful gadget for preventing thread unraveling while it feeds the sewing machine, but can be used to keep the lead thread in place on the spool without using a pin or tape. The spool for these do not have a base with notch to keep thread lead in placeCut the thread nets in half or thirds to use on all spools included or your other spool needsKind of wish it came in its own plastic box, but this is a set without too many frillsHowever, the thread is good, and it's a brand I can recommend

I used this to machine quilt. For that, it’s great: consistent, not terribly linty, I like the color selection. But for garments, this is not my first choice. Not nearly as strong as “all-purpose” thread. Don’t choose this for clothing seams that will be under stress.

I use cotton thread when making bowl cozies for the microwave. Finding multiple colors in cotton thread is often unavailable in my area. These colors fill the bill.

I bought this because of the reviews but I have never had so many issues with my sewing as I have since I started using this thread. This is so disappointing. I’m a small business owner and this has put me behind due to the sewing issues

The colour on the box/add was exactly the green I needed. Sadly, it wasn’t the same as the ad and doesn’t match. I can use them, but not on my current quilt project.
