No More Glue Sticks
I have two kobra 3s and one of them had a z-axis calibration issue which caused it to remove all of the top textured of the original build plate in a 2" diameter circle, so I needed a replacement build plate. I had been reading about the cool plates so I decided to try this one (CryoGrip Pro Glacier). I was really interested in not having to use any sort of bed adhesive, like glue sticks. I hate having to remove the glue stick residue from the prints, it's not hard, it's just a pain. When this build plate arrived, I immediately put it on the printer and printed a benchy, because it's fast and I knew what to expect from the printer. It printed great, no bed adhesion issues. I've used this plate daily for almost a month and I have not had a single print failure due to a bed adhesion issue. The models just stick to it. As a matter of fact, they stick almost too well to it; I've had to start using a metal scraper to remove some models (gently of course).According to the instructions, the bed temperature should be between 45 and 55 degrees C for PLA and the default temp for pla on the kobra 3 is 60. It's easy to adjust the bed temp on the kobra 3 and I have managed to change the default temp to 45; however, the default doesn't stay at 45 for more than 3-4 prints before it's somehow back to 60. So I just try to make sure it gets changed to 45 every time. However, sometimes I miss it and the temp isn't adjusted the bed temp is 60 the whole time, I haven't found that has had any impact on the quality of the prints. This plate is textured, however, it is finely textured, it's not quite smooth but it's pretty close. There is a very noticeable difference between the feel of models printed on it versus those printed on the textured plates.I'm very happy with this plate. I actually ordered a second one about two weeks after I ordered the first one. These are now my go to build plates.

Finally, a build plate that doesn't require adhesive.
You would not believe how many different build plates I have tried over the years. All promising to work great without adhesive. Every single one was a lie. Until now. The Glacier plate is real. I've run 4 prints on it so far with ASA filament. Not a single adhesion issue, no warping, and not a drop of glue. If you're putting it off, or on the fence, stop what you're doing and buy it. You can thank me later. It's worth every single cent.

Ultimate sticking power
Just using this plate for a few prints right in a row, it continues to have excellent hold on prints. Not overly so that you can't get the completed prints off, but still enough that even once fully cooled, you still have to bend the sheet to take off your prints. That's some amazing hold right there. The plate fit the Bambu P1S perfectly, making installation a breeze. And I really like the cool blue color. I print a lot with black PLA, so I can see my first few layers much better now.

Don’t buy if your going to use in setting where you need same surface appearance!
Would not recommend due to the inconsistency of quality. I have three different plates now with all three different surfaces. I have two printers which print same file side by side and this by far has been the toughest decision to make. I wanted to keep these plates but the surface of the print does not match from plate to plate hindering ability to print simultaneously. I would say don’t buy this if you are running multiple printers and want the same quality in print surface. I will be sharing some picture of the plates surface and also the print quality from plate to plate. The three cubes are (left) plate #2 on printer #1 (center) plate #1 (same in both printers) and (right) plate #2 on printer #2. Quality is crap from the plate #2. Not like my original cryo plate. I hate to give bad reviews but the consistency of the quality is extremely poor. Adhesion is great and the plate number one has great texture appearance. The thickness of all three plates differ from .51 to .56 to .66. (.66 is the plate #1 and the center cube with the expected texture in print side. I have done numerous prints to test and adjust to no avail. I am not making a profile just for the lack of quality and consistency of a well known company. Hopefully you have read this in its entirety to assist you in your future purchase.

Works great for a good price
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this build plate really impressed me. The adhesion is solid—prints stay put during the job, and they pop off easily once it cools down. The textured surface helps give prints a clean, professional look.I also really appreciated its affordability. With how expensive 3D printing accessories can be, this felt like a great deal. It works great with my Bambu Lab printer and feels like it should cost more than it does. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a reliable upgrade.

Solved a problem.
Highly recommended. My printers are in the basement, and when winter began, I started having adhesion problems with the stock bamboo sheets. After switching to the black version, those issues disappeared. When I needed a second sheet for another printer, the black one was out of stock, so I ordered this alternative. It works just as well. The only downside is that prints can sometimes stick a little too firmly.
